Filipinos are the 3rd largest immigrant in Canada after China and India. But in all honesty, Canadians loves filipinos compared to other immigrants because they easily assimilate to the local customs and way of living without changing the way it should be. And aside from that, they speak better english as well.

They are hard to come by because they are mobile vendors. They bike around the neighborhood while ringing their bell. If you hear the bell you must run out the house, otherwise you'll miss them. Wow that reminds me of my childhood

Some malls sell binatog but they aren't that good because the corn and coconut aren't fresh aside from they dont last long. It usually goes bad in 3-4hrs.

You should see places like Cebu city, Davao, Palawan or Pampanga...these are the ones that has authentic Filipino cuisines. The ones at Binondo and Quiapo are usually Chinese inspired food. It'll cost you a little for the plane tickets from Manila to those places, but the trip will be worth it! Check some Beaches also in the Phils, we are known for beautiful beaches. And I'm sure there's no good beaches here in Canada. Hahaha! Esp if you live in the prairies like me...Manitoba lakes suck! Lol! I miss my home country so much...
