What's most impressive about this game is not only is it a solo developer but it's a self taught solo developer. He had no real gamedev or programming experience going into Manor Lords. Truly impressive.

I still cannot believe this is all developed by a solo developer, such finesse in all the details for a medieval strategy game! Hats off to the dev, the graphics, the fonts, the logos, the menus and pop-up options, the organic town architecture system, unique gameplay mechanics, all are just so fitting to the genre. I really wish all the good luck to this dev and hope this creates a new benchmark for future medieval strategy games 🙏🙂

Don't rush him (Slavic Magic), this dude made this game alone for years. it was obvious the pace will not be the fastest. Be patient and wait for good shit not hot garbage. If he ain't wrong CA will borrow a lot of stuff from him to new historical TW. It has potential to be combination of medieval ciy builder+crusader kings+total war. Game I was dreaming about for decades now.

it looks amazing, however I hope they will add the ability to add walls later on and siege equipment :D The late game cities is kinda large and very impressive looking, so it looks kinda unrealistic for them not to have some sort of defence. Maybe it is added and im just missing it who knows :P

@@blastaq4267 The number of battles with "thousands of knights" is actually suprisingly small, especially in the early medieval period. A village of 5000 souls could never amass s thousand knights, they are expensive, their armor is expensive, their weapons, their training, their horses, everything. Only really high ranking lords with a vast demesne could amass 1000+ knights. I don't think the games needs or can pull off such grand ideas.

It seems more a cross to Stronghold, Total War, and Dawn of Man/Farthest Frontier. Jurassic Park Evolution with the island hopping, being able to jump different counties/regions. Like a TW campaign map with regional Stronghold/Farthest Frontier builder/battle maps.
