how did you get that cylinder head so perfectly clean?

@@ManSeeksCivic okay i assume you mixes the granular mix with water and sprayed the head with it? I got an m52 head too an it looks nasty

It needs to be diluted with water and agitated in a tank at around 50degc. The head was immersed and after about 30 seconds it begins to melt away the oil. Its quite serious professional stuff but is simply second to none at removing the dirt. I plan on buying a container big enough and creating a setup at home soon to allow me to clean other parts. The chemical is fairly cheap considering its uses.

I had them cleaned at a machinists Richard. I have no idea but they came back lovely. Natalie did a good job getting the detailed stuff clear, it was worth the grief of having to work around her like an octopus 😂

Give the valvea a wack with a hammer a few times to settle the collects in the top of the stems. Sounds exesif but you will be able to hear them settle. !have a look on you tube.
