1st time commenting on your channel and I do agree with a lot of your point... Not all... but most of what you said is correct to a point... My wife is from the Philippines and we are married for over 10yrs and we are living in Singapore. Yes... Jobs are hard to come by... Well paying jobs are even harder to come by... Hence why so many Filipino have to seek a better future outside their own country. Simply... Unless you are sent over from your company to work... Or you are starting a business in Philippines... I doubt most Foreigners could make a good enough living to live well... Corruption... Yup... Not as bad as some other part in S.E Asia... But its there.... But I personally worry more about the gun crime... and the political killing out in the province... Less than 10yrs ago... Hired man came into my in-law's barangay looking for the family that took their money but didn't vote like they promised.... Luckily the family already escaped, so they only got their home (a shack) destroyed and their animals let out... A warning to the rest... Natural disaster is a promise... Just how bad when it comes... And how many times in any given year hitting your area... And everytime a typhoon come near my in-law's island.... Its a few days of sleepless night for me and my wife.... Public facilities are bad... Especially in the province or barangay... Till today, i don't think the city in the province my wife is from... Has 4G network... We'll be gping back this Nov... Hopefully they have at least 4G... Because my son can't do without his online games and KZbin...😂 Poverty is bad... And at times it really break my heart... But I'm old enough to know that its life... And just be glad I'm living well... and the money we send back brought them stability and their harvest, however little there is... Is but extra and that they will not starve if the price drop too much or the harvest is bad... I remember a year when my F-in-L lost his entire harvest, gathered for a week, was lost due to a flood caused by a typhoon... 😓 But no matter what... You cannot say Filipino are not polite and friendly people... Such, like everywhere else, you have to look out for people out to take advantage of you... But I find Filipino friendly to the point I sometimes find uncomfortable...🤣😂 Oh... About children asking for jolibee or candy or anything... I know I shouldn't... because its never ending and you can't help them all... But my heart can't take it and I do buy them some food if I'm able... I don't give money... But would buy them a meal or two... And leave immediately so no more come and ask for it ...

Philippine is like what China 20+ years ago. Beijing, Guangzhou and many cities had people begging for money everywhere. Life was quite distressed back in the late 90s and before. China is not perfect by any definition but China government is doing a really really great job mobilizing the whole nation going forward in the right direction!!People’s life has improved 100s% or even better!!
