Couple of tips: The brake fluid reservoir is the same auto or manual, the auto just has the port for the clutch fluid feed sealed off. Just snip it, no need to crack open your brake system. Second: When bleeding the clutch make sure the fluid is OVER full and keep topping it up. The clutch reservoir is a little partition inside the brake reservoir and only gets filled when the fluid is at the very top. They do this so you don't dump all your brake fluid in the event of a clutch leak. Hope this helps!

As a Swede, it pleases me to see you work on a V70. But also everything around the production. B-roll, the lofi music, hearing all the tools over the music, it’s relaxing almost. I hope you find your audience because you’re worth it.
@laddtryck10 ай бұрын
As a Swede this is a nice breath of fresh air as the vast majority of the v70s in Sweden arent tuned and only go super low with huge subs, and most of these drivers lack their own taste and run the same wheels as everybody else in their low v70s. Its very fun to see you work!
@petarmarkovic189410 ай бұрын
That maybe true, but a regular rust bucket V70 in Sweden is more expensive than this 1500$ V70R Kinda puts things into perspective as to why things are the way you say they are.
@fortune30010 ай бұрын
But the majority of the v70s in Sweden are owned by people that does not care about cars at all. Like my father and a lot of the neighbours. They bought the car because they wanted a reliable, comfortable and safe car for going from A to B.

Great job! You need put the transmission control unit in neutral to get the car to start and drive. It’s a mechanical switch on the control unit attached to the automatic transmission, although I’m sure you already figured it out. I drove my manual swapped V70R for a few months this way, but it runs kind of funky. Rev hang, no reverse lights, no reverse lock-out (be careful when shifting from 4th to 5th), check engine light, transmission warning message, no cruise control…. I eventually had the manual conversion done to the CEM and ECM. It wasn’t cheap, but it’s worth it. The car now thinks it’s a manual and drives like a factory M66. Maybe even better thanks to a single mass flywheel. Again, you’re probably finished with the swap and are already having a ball rowing your own gears. It totally changes the driving dynamics of the car!

this is just great unfiltered content. Not watered down with stupid stuff. Straight to the point and your very honest of your capability which is what makes this enjoyable to watch. Cause we all started somewhere, right? I can relate especially to your videos. Back during covid lock down I was trapped in a house with my mother in-law, wife, and sister-in-law. LOTS OF ESTROGEN! So, I've always wanted to rebuild a motorcycle and I've never done anything like it. So, I did... found a garage that I rented, turned it into a makeshift shop and started the process. I did film some of it but not all of it. i got a few editing programs for my PC but I never made it happen as far as putting it up. I did complete the bike however and it came out sick. Point is your channel shows me what I could have done if i committed to posting the content. I would have done it the same way as you. Keep going man you're doing a great job.

Awesome videos. As a fellow V70R owner, it is great to watch and get inspiration / reference! One thing I noticed on mine (a 2004 from Japan), you may want to check the harness for the coilpacks - my V70R had quite alot of brittle insulation on wires in high heat areas. If I remember correctly, I found there was a guy in the US who makes replacement harnesses luckily.

Nice work man! A mate from sweden here. I have a Volvo S60 T5 (-05) that im thinking of manual swaping. Didnt know that you could leave the auto-ecu in the car, thought that you have to reprogram the ecu for this. This video made it all more interesting 👌🤗 a little info about my car: 2,4 T5, kkk24 turbo, green injectors (964, stock R), intake, building full 3” exhaust, should make around 350hp and 450nm. But im out for that 6-speed manual transmission, just as you say, value is like double and just the feel 👌 Nice work, keep it up, im following!

I have 2 sugestions. 1. Get the nylom spacer.for the intake to reduce heat soak and 2. Eliminat the oil heater on the back of the block. It will only cause leaks down the road and dosent cool like a goodexternal cooler will(like one from.a 740 turbo)
