Like how you made your own diff. mount! Aftermarket ones seem pricey in my opinion. But looking foward to some gear jamming 32v musical notes good luck 👍🏻

What flywheel and clutch kit did you use? Is the TOB is OEM with the clutch kit?

I used the one from American muscle. I think it was the Ram "muscle" series. For a 2006 mustang gt

@@96LM8 Thanks for the fast replay. I was able to find your series of videos for this swap so I'm taking notes. My name is Bryan Young and I'm in a few of the Mark 8 groups on Facebook. I'm finally getting the TR3650 and I have the tbird SC clutch assy as well. Thank you a ton for making these videos. I cant wait to rip in my mark 8 with the manual trans. I already have the Lok diff and 4.10 gears as well as the cobra intake.

Where can I get a decent 4.6 motor to swap in a 97 Lincoln Mark 8? Also are you using coil overs or air? Last question what's the widest wheel and tire combo without any rub?
@96LM86 жыл бұрын
I have a 10" wide rear wheel and a 9" in the front. The rear tire is a 255 so it is kinda stretched. It rubs with my lowering kit. If it was a 9" in the rear it would tuck in the wheel well almost like stock I bet. 1.5" drop springs on the car now

Notice you were complaining about the dummy clutch spline wabble! I noticed your flywheel mounted, Did you put in a pilot bearing in the crankshaft as required? Just wondering! You have done a lot of work to this car. I've got to relocate my Computer as you did. Got the clutch from a Super Coupe as you did. Excellent exhaust back two the tailpipes. You are a really good fabricator with what you had to use. If I can get some decent weather next year going to put a T 56 Magnum 6 speed in mine with 3:55 gear. Watched all your videos you did a very good presentation! Have fun! AK

Just pull it out and insert the bearing best or brass bushing is ok. They also make a throwout bearing that has a return spring that will return the bearing and it will not run all the time. But of course, it's costly. Have a good night. Thanks Again AK
