In this episode:
- Cutting sheet metal and spot welding "for domestic use". So please do not compare with professional work.
- Dismantle the fender and remove rust
- Fill and prime the fender
In this sequence, I produce the required body panels and weld them using the spot welding process. The fenders are removed and there is more rust underneath. The fenders are then sanded out, primed and filled. So finally all holes are closed again and nothing stands in the way of painting - or is it?
The project car:
Japanese "Kei-Car" Daihatsu Cuore L80 1987 with ED10 engine 850ccm Euro-Spec 3-cylinder, carburetor without cat.
Objective: We are saving this Japanese microcar (kei car) from being scrapped and are striving for an H approval. On the way there, all maintenance work is carried out and the car is completely repaired, reconditioned and, last but not least, it gets a few contemporary modifications.
But I'm not going to reveal more yet. ;-)
