When ever you have a crack, drill 1/8 hole in each end before welding. This will release the need to spread, and allow the weld to hold longer. Thank you for sharing with another thumbs up to you.

I’m a fairly new viewer so I decided to go back as far as it would let me to see your old vids as well as catch up. You’re pretty much an all business kind of guy except when you surprise me with one of your ‘finds’! This is the first vid that you made a joke!! About being an artist... made me chuckle!

Hi Eric, new subscriber here. Just find out your channel and start watching the videos from the oldest to the newest. I was born and raised then lived in the cities all my life. I just love to see the country life and your videos are really opening my eyes. Will love to see any topics regarding your farm, your hometown, your neighborhoods, you and your families. Thanks.

Hey I just want to say I really enjoy your videos and your humor, and that you make a point of caring for your animals. You're a real jack of all trades and you should be proud of that, at least I find it impressive (I've only ever lived in big cities and wouldn't last a minute on your farm). I also just watched your video from April 19 about not posting as many videos. I respect that a lot and I'm sure you're ultimately happier putting yourself first as a farmer and a family man. God bless and keep on truckin.

Weld in a pattern to fill a gap like a spiral or zigzag...I use the push and pull method but whatever you feel is right for you....also use a grinder to get to fresh metal...rust causes bubbles bubbles cause cracks...don’t do more work if you don’t have to...I’m watching all your videos in order...I love them.

Little advice for the future: if you’re trying to stop a crack drill a hole at the end of the crack then weld it. If you don’t drill it the crack will continue to grow

2 suggestions! 1) don’t scrape it because the paint will go off. 2) before you “wash it” just put some water on it for 10 minutes. Power wash will go so much easier after those 10 min. That manure will absorb the water ... Or just do it after a rain.... Get a Mig welder. I know is costing some money but long term is a better weld then the electrode....

Idk if you know but if you wax your tractors and equipment minimum twice a year i will be so much easier to clean and it makes them look amazing but you probably dont have the time for that bec it takes at least 2 hours to get a good coat on and if you have a crack drill a small hole in each end before weding this will decrease the need of seperating anyway keep up the vids i love em all
