Whenever I come across farming, it takes me down memory lane. Losing my farm to the hurricane Florence on September 2018 here in North Carolina dealth a huge jab. But with an influx of $75K monthly made my family happy one more time

Was born in Iowa on a farm. I had one of these manure spreaders as a birthday cake when I was prob 6. I thought they were awesome. Love your vids and shorts

Watch Edison Motors and do ev conversions on semi trucks and a refer trailer. The truck becomes a power plant to silently run the refer at events and emergency power the freezer if there's a power outtage. Rent it stocked for events with Farmer Grade meat. The air ride trailer lowers to walk in and pallet load or hang 1/2s on rails for return to age and process. The trailer can also become a stand alone power supply.

I can't believe the floor of the spreader isn't rotted out.

There is some nitrogen in that manure. I make liquid fertilizer for my vegetable and landscape beds from that. Fill pillow case 1/3 full of dry manure, put in 35 gallon trash can and cover with water. After 2 days remove the pillow case and fill the trash can with water.

Oh, I thought they were later than that. We had a 40, bought in the early '80's. Was the 33 made by Badger for JD?

Hey barn talk I’ve got a lengthy question for you guys I hope I can get some advice on. My dad and his brother currently are still milking about 65 cows in a tie stall barn and running around 300 acres of land. Me and my brother have no interest in keeping the dairy herd around but want to raise beef and still farm the land. We can see both dad and uncles health declining and becoming harder for them to keep up with day to day tasks on the farm and keeping everything in good shape. They are old timers and haven’t invested in any technology since they took the farm over. What is the best way to communicate with that them selling the dairy heard might be the best thing for the farm financially and health wise? We are thinking turning the milk barn into a custom meet processing facility or calve barn. Any advice is appreciated, thanks!

I think the JD 33 was a Badger made spreader from the early/ mid 70's. And I always thought horse 💩 seems to burn my nose more than other 💩. Yes, hog 💩 is a pervasive aroma, and dairy cow's have a different smell, but horse 💩burns more. Ammonia is more concentrated.
