Wow!! How do you play so good. It's probably because I started 3 weeks ago and you've been playing for a long time
@ManvirHothi8 жыл бұрын
+Harmin Brar I've been playing for almost a decade now (on and off) but I've always been passionate about the instrument. All it takes is consistent practice and you will be playing like this in no time!

Hey Manvir, I have been watching your videos for a few months now. You teach some amazing stuff through your videos. I was wondering if you reach that amazing speed by continually practicing the same beat over and over again? Is there anything else that would help one to achieve such speed when playing? Thank you!
@ManvirHothi7 жыл бұрын
Hey Sangita, thank you for the comment! Practicing is definitely the key to playing cleaner and faster, but technique is also a big contributing factor. You want to incorporate finger + wrist movement. If you watch the most recent video, 'How To Hold The Sticks', it may better explain what I am talking about. Hope that helps!

Why everyone is playing with left hand i mean i play maharashtrian Dhol but we play it with right hand. Can we play Punjabi Dhol with right hand.

Hi Manvirji , love listening to your dhol.we at gujarat side hold the right stick horizontally & can not push it through fingers. Can we get the same speed as u all get ??
@ManvirHothi6 жыл бұрын
Hi Ajay, thank you for the comment! I have seen many dholi's play like that, and many that play a lot better than I do, so it is possible. Anything is possible, so continue doing what you are doing 🙂

Thanks bro so much.. Brilliant video.. I'm struggling a little with tempo on the tilli side I can't get it fast as you're showing.. any tips??
@ManvirHothi9 жыл бұрын
+desiman0786 Train your forearms like you would any muscle. I personally use finger/grip exercisers to increase grip strength. Also, if you have heavy tillian, start practicing with those and overtime, you strike and speed will improve
@desiman07869 жыл бұрын
+Manvir Hothi... Thanks bro., I will do that, and use heavier tilis while working on my muscle's. Awsome stuff thanks again.👍

Hi. Can you number the lessons at the beginning of the title, so its easier to follow. It's hard to see the title and difficult to find and follow the videos in order.
