One of the Resident Evil movies also has them trying to get to a boat. Seems to be a recurring idea for zombie games and movies, which makes sense; you're out at sea with no concern for zombie attacks from any direction, able to navigate to a variety of places around the world to stock up on supplies in a way the undead can't realistically follow, and if any passenger dies and looks about to turn you can just throw them over the edge into the water.

Huh. I played an online MMO developed by the publishers of this game (Creaky Corpse Games) called Dead Frontier like, years ago, and I still get emails from them. They've got a special in-game item for people who purchase this game in the first 10 days, and that's how I found out about this, but the email made it look really generic and didn't tell me anything about it so I figured it wasn't that great. They should've had this title screen in the background and provided at least a smidgen of information. But it looks like Jon's saved a sale for them, cause this looks interesting now and I might go grab it.

He can also be a terrifying sociopath, but, hey, you take the good, along with the bad...and something like that, is actually a good trait, in the Z-pocalypse. At least he cares, and gets angry, for all the right reasons. Tough break, though, cashing-in, on day three. Yeah, and it came out of nowhere...actually, it was just a joke, to start out...It used to be my "Default Movie", and I watched it every day, for, well, over a couple years, I probably know the commentary by heart, Well I used to. The boat plan didn't pan out too well...in the end, staying in the Mall would have been a worse death, and much slower...maybe they did okay, after the recording stopped...maybe not...they had been pretty damn lucky, up to that point...

Jon have you ever played Project Zomboid? I recommend anyone who likes zombie/apocalypse games checks it out. It's pretty cool it's a kind of isometric RPG realistic zombie apocalypse game, by far the most realistic I have ever seen. For instance you can only see what your character would see, unless you've seen an area before it's blacked out once you go there it's in your memory and any zombies there you don't see once you turn around. It's crazy difficult but awesome, your character even gets anxious and paranoid the more they're exposed to danger. You can also customize the game a lot, set when it starts, what the zombies are like etc etc you can make it so power and water never goes off, starts off or goes off after a few months. The zombie customization is awesome, you can make it so they can run like 28 Days Later zombies and have great vision and hearing or you can make them nearly useless things like that. You also have to be very aware of how much noise and light you produce because zombies will hear and start banging on the doors or coming in the windows. There isn't really a story or anything but it's such a cool game to immerse yourself in and boy is it brutal. Can see why it might not be good for KZbin but for recreational gaming certainly.
