Great Vide man!!! I have a question, how can I combine animations at 15 or 12 frames per second in videos at 60 frames per second, something like what you did at the second 0:15?
@mapal Жыл бұрын
Thank you! Add posterize time to the layers you want to be in a lower frame rate. I shoot all my videos in 24fps. In this specific instance I exported the text you’re referring to at 24fps BUT I added a posterize time to an adjustment layer. So add posterize time and set it to your desired frame rate and export at the frame rate of the video.

I know you kinda profits on sells, but just let your, cheap, poor, followers, like myself, know an alternative way to make it looks similar to the final result. Thx a lot.
@mapal Жыл бұрын
You can get a similar effect by making 3 copies of your comp and adding the rgb effect. Set each one to its own colour channel and change the blending mode. Then on one of the layers add optics compensation and adjust. This video covers it to a certain extent: How To Make a VHS CRT Look in After Effects - Tutorial kzbin.info/www/bejne/a2izmGyOj9qbm8U

You might be able to finesse something by splitting up your final comp into 3 and setting each to RGB respectively. Then adding some sort of distortion to get a similar look. A bit more tedious but should be possible
