Part one worked last night - identifying that Matthews is a playoff disappointment at centre and moving him out of the first line Centre position. Domi won face offs and he has better passing skills than Matthews to generate assists. The second step should be - when Matthews is well - that he returns on the wing with Domi at centre. Leafs have been in denial for years that Matthews is a playoff disappointment at centre. For clarity once more a big problem has been - The Leafs have been in denial too long that Matthews is a playoff disappointment as the first line Centre.
