I was wondering how much of it was even instruments. He was a huge part of the rhythm in Pentatonix. He and Kevin were truly a tour de force. I’d seen that he did his own harmonies for this and that started me wondering how much of the track is just layers of his own voice. Thanks for the detailed info!

This is the kind of music has always loved, and he’s finally able to perform it for us. He is in the middle of doing his first shows in a couple of years at a small venue in Nashville. All the shows he originally scheduled sold out almost as fast as he posted the information about them, making him add additional shows which also sold out quickly. Some of the people attending them, notably Seboss and Amanda Yarbro, have posted clips from the shows and you might enjoy watching them. There is also a video from a fundraiser for the A Capella Academy that he did a few weeks ago. The picture is of mixed quality but the audio is great. He does a mix of old and new songs. You would probably enjoy seeing those too.

Love the vibe on this one, It's very soulful and tribal, not like some of his other stuff I've heard. I miss Avi with Pentatonix too, but if this is what he's putting out now, then I'm looking forward to what he does next. Speaking of Pentatonix.................they have a new video out too. It's a cover of a song by Cosmo Sheldrake called "Come Along" . Not a well known song, but it's very catchy and it's very well done. Please check it out.

Most reactors equate this was some sort of Going off to battle. I've always picture this in sons of anarchy when they're all getting on there harleys going off to do something less than legal. The song is actually about Coming out of his depression And that's the change on the rise. The two lines "what goodis a man who's lost his soul" and "Can't take a stand when his fire has gone cold" is so dead on for depression. I know because I have bipolar depression. For as literate as I am I can never come up with words like these To describe depression. Every single word was written by Avi, All the music was written And play by Avi every note you hear is by Avid. I just don't understand why he's dressed the way he is or why he's kneeling in front of A fireplace. And because I live in Lesa land the scene where they're all lighting the torches out of the fire and raising the torches and marching on reminds me of young Frankenstein. The song has nothing to do with it, it just reminds me That scene in young Frankenstein
