It looks like the Civ 5 rng gods really wanted Marbozir back too. That’s the only way I can explain both Lake Victoria and the Fountain of Youth spawning nearby his capital.

Don't forget the citadel option with your generals. Using it to grab tiles that you can't afford, like the silver earlier (also creating a great defensive choke point) or to perhaps steal those gems from the CS can be quite useful. Especially as you'll end up with way more GG's than you need.

If I find the Fountain of Youth early, I settle it immediately, even if that city has nothing else going for it. Having that and Lake Victoria near the start is quite amazing.
