A lot of people at the time didn’t like this record especially the moronic media (they’ve always been pricks like today) it’s because it was so different to the singles before and people had the nerve to say his records all sounded the same ah well I loved them all and still do.

Marc was the first to do music videos... man, he was on fire & just kept fearlessly making the music that inspired him. Wish we had him in America, but for some reason no air play. Forget touring, even though that would have been important too, we just never heard him on the radio (besides "Get it on, Bang a Gong" 🎶👍). But I'm glad to have his music/video catelog now, considering there's absolutely no good quality music in the world anymore, especially since Kurt Cobain died.

No one dares today what performers like Mark and endless list of others had done during 60 and 70’s. Today we don’t have real artists. We have massive production numbers, with lip singing and special effects.

When we watched shows like this in the seventies, we didn't care that it was a total mime show. Anything to see Marc on the telly. And we certainly did not get this German show on TV in Canada, your subscribers thank you!

Bought Teenage Dream the day it was released and the single edit is by far the best. The extended version was only released posthumously and I feel it ruins the climax of the song. This is an excellent video. Thank you.

The production of this song is fantastic, especially the strings. Visconti was a genius.

@@hardlines2635 Tony Visconti left Bolan as he couldn’t take any more of Marc’s outrageously bad behaviour. I agree without Visconti some of the magic they created together was lost forever.

Man denke "wer hat den Käfig aufgelassen..." aber ich habe die Zeit erlebt, jeder wollte "besonders" sein..... heute gesehen lächerlich, jedoch die Musik passt...
