I've been having a blast on this ship albeit the usual blue potatoes. Go all out I would say it's viable in this ship (in it's current state) as the engine boost lasts 3 mins rather than the usual 2 which is great for, as you mentioned, flanking/ambushing other ships. Amazing boat and hopefully we get to see it very soon in game.

I really like the tier 7 hungarian Split a alot...140mm guns with fast reload and good HE alpha and swirki's new perk it is veryyy strong... outspotting, out radarring and outgunning all the freshly minted freislands out there Also i think its the only ship that turns faster than it sails in a straight line?! 41kts at full rudder and 39kts in a straight line? Pretty wicked

FYI, you don't get reload booster with Marceau. You trade it for permanent dpm and smaller guns

It should be in LT because this is a gunboat alternative to the Kleber and on PC is T10 and you mostly gonna use the guns but with Torp Safari you can elevate the range to 7km fully maxed just like Kleber.

We can, and we do...there are plenty of strong T8 ships. This one would be towards the top in terms of performance. You have to have a balanced game and while power creep is certainly real you can't just throw in OP stuff every time and keep it because you like it, we need some order of balance. Which WG isn't great at realizing at times
