@@wakeupworld100 100 not possible. Jacobs is very slow at any start of a race but after the 20, 30 meters, right now, he is the fastest of them all. Not forgetting that he was a long jumper just the other day and changed to running after an injury, what means he is still new and might be able to improve a lot

I haven't seen such a relaxed runner ever since Asafa. Jacobs is the man! (On the other hand, I have never seen anyone running like a Velociraptor, like Coleman does)

@@2222arianna I think it just has to do with the fact that, for most people, Marcell came out of nowhere. They may have thought it was a one-and-done and didn’t actually see the gradual rise to his success at the olympic stage

You should look at a runners technique before you dismiss them. Top runners usually have standout technique. Jacobs has that. Flo-Jo had it too. He was the most balanced, smooth, powerful runner in that final by far ....

Ok, as long a jacobs doesn't get injured, he is probably winning the 100m at the world champ. What a monster!! Not only does he have a great start, he also has a great top end and can hold his top end speed for long

He didn't beat Bromell and Coleman just returned. Remember that bromell got the 2 best times last year. But it seems like he is the best it's not for sure

@@iRzns point of this comment is that Coleman is stronger starter than Jacobs, even here. You can really see how what in the 100 meters is the "mid" phase Coleman is slower than Jacobs (and Bracy too)

Coleman leaned too early. He should’ve just run through the line and he probably wins it. Great race by Jacobs though to not be phased by such a great start from Coleman and trust in his top end speed to clip him at the tape. The guy has ice in his veins.

@@yennox5338 Coleman ran faster times via 6.34 and 6.37 for 60m and 9.79 and 9.76 for 100m etc. If Coleman gets back into that shape and builds from there he can hold off Jacobs etc. Let's see what happens. 💯

Terrific acceleration but improvable start. For most of the run, he still was behind the first, but recovered impressively in the very end. Anyway, this time worths less than 9:80 s in 100m !

Nah Jacobs top end speed is better right now. Yes Coleman had the suspension and he’s been running well recently but Jacobs has had the momentum. The Coleman before the suspension would cake walk Jacobs but that’s not the case right now. Give Jacobs his credit

@@OlympicSeason Nope, we'll agree to disagree on that. Even with Coleman not even being back to his top form he still almost beat him. Coleman's problem is and always has been his inability to lean correctly at the line. Has nothing to do with his top and speed. Also I wouldn't be bragging about someone's top and speed when it was just a .02 difference 😂 bruh. When Coleman runs a 9.7 outdoor, I'll come back and remind you about real top end speed.

Excellent race by Jacobs! If Jacobs' longer stride can overcome Coleman's superior foot speed in as little as 60m, it doesn't bode well for him against Jacobs for the rest of the season. Jacobs' foot speed is still very good and his form is flawless. Reminds me of Asafa Powell.

Coleman had it, I think he lost his form about the last 3 meters of the race. He's been away for awhile, he'll get in better shape as the season progresses.

@@shawnterrance7204 you're so wrong. How can you say that he came out of no where? He was a great long jumper, he jumped four times over 8 metres and one time he jumped a wind aided 8.48. In 2018 he run 10.04 in the 100 metres with backwind. In 2019 he was still a jumper and he run a regular 10.03. Like Jacobs, also Fred Kerley moved from another discipline and improved a lot. So what are you sayng?

If Christian didn't dip slightly too early I think he would have got this. Not bad for first season back. He needs to improve his second half of his 100 to have a chance against Jacobs outdoor though.
