I can understand not liking Spaceman. For some, yeah the movie can be unbearably boring. For me, I would personally put this in my top 5 favorite Adam Sandler movies, really because of the final act. Interstellar is my favorite movie of all time. I love longer space narratives. Obviously, Uncut Gems is the better Sandler drama piece. But idk man. I became a major Paul Dano fan in The Batman. I thought his voice acting in this was fantastic. I do feel like Adam's acting was a little inconsistent in this. But I loved the story. The visuals were incredible. The score was awesome. But that's just my opinion. As I said, I can respect that some people don't like this film because it can be boring. Very love it or hate it movie. But I was a big fan of this one

I feel very strongly that we as an audience need to take a hard stand right here and now and wholeheartedly reject any and all attempts to allow AI-generated art to creep into our space. AI is theft, laziness, and illegitimate art, there's no way around this. It must not be allowed and legitimized in the entertainment industry in any way. We need to stop rolling our eyes at people who care about this issue and understand that AI will take all of our jobs in every sector and destroy our entire way of life if we let it. Art is a sacred medium of expression that always has and always should be a realm where people talk to each other about what it means to be human. Very slowly we are allowing the simulacrum to take over and it's awful that people speaking against it are being dismissed as wackos, purists, and conspiracy theorists, meanwhile this terrible phenomenon is happening before our eyes. I am nothing but disheartened and devastated at the coming artistic apocalypse that we're welcoming with open arms.

This is my ranking of March Cody: 1. Godzilla X Kong 8/10: loved seeing it in IMAX and I enjoyed all the monster fights. 2. Ghostbusters: Frozen empire 7/10: definitely overstuffed but for what they mainly focus on in the story I enjoyed and I loved seeing James Acaster in the movie. Dune Part II 6.25/10: I know a lot of people have this at number one but I wasn’t able to focus on everything so I felt like maybe 3 dune movies could have fleshed out the lore more but I thought the action and effects look the best in a long time. Runaway dolls 5.75/10: some scenes funny, some scenes rewatchable, some scenes don’t make any sense to me. Imaginary 4.5/10: generic supernatural horror movie. Kung Fu Panda 4 2/10: most likely going to be both my biggest disappointment and worst movie of the year. While some ideas seemed like a great continuation, I felt like the it was executed really poorly, the attempts at passing down the touch fell on its face and I hated how they brought back pos villains just to do nothing with them apart from Tai Lung act nothing like himself. It’s not the worst movie of 2023 but to me it’s absolutely my least favourite movie of the year and the one that most insults me. Outside of the voice acting and animation nothing in the movie felt entirely right and overall was a stain on what I consider my favourite movie trilogy of all time and a disgrace to my favourite movie of all time with the first Kung Fu Panda (yes, the first one) all 3 of the original trilogy is in my top 10 favourite movies of all time. That’s my ranking. Sorry if I seemed pissed off during that bottom ranking.

8. Spaceman-Although this movie had some ambition to what it’s tackling, I didn’t really engage with this movie because of its jumbled tone, recycled ideas, and aimless storytelling 7. Damsel-Even though this movie moved quick enough for it to be watchable, it didn’t really have enough meat on its bones to be much more than just a fine way to spend a couple of hours 6. Ricky Stanicky-Because this is a comedy, I got more out of this movie than the bottom two on this list, but like those films, this isn’t a film that really left a positive or negative impression for me As a point of reference, the next four movies are essentially tied for me. I enjoyed all of them, but none of them were great by any means 5. Ghostbusters: Frozen Empire-Despite not being as good as it could’ve been, this movie still delivers the elements I want from a Ghostbusters story with the enjoyable cast of characters, plenty of paranormal creatures, and newly introduced lore 4. Kung Fu Panda 4-Despite being the weakest Kung Fu Panda film, this is still an enjoyable addition to the franchise because of its solid characters, well done action based sequences, vibrant animation, and solid villain the audience wants to see defeated by the end of the film 3. Godzilla x Kong: The New Empire-Another enjoyable addition to the Monsterverse that completely ignores logic to have plenty of monster boss fights to entertain its audience from beginning to end 2. Road House-Again, this movie is basically tied with the previous three films, but I had a good time with this movie because it understood what it was and what its target audience was expecting to be a movie I’ll certainly go back to at some point 1. Dune: Part Two-A fantastic second half to this epic story that has the beats of a hero’s journey while challenging its audience all along the way, all told with excellent performances, expansive world building, and complex character dynamics to make for easily my favorite movie of 2024 Here are the March 2024 movies I wasn’t able to watch this month Accidental Texan American Dreamer The American Society of Magical Negroes Arthur the King Asphalt City Cabrini Dogman Imaginary Immaculate In the Land of Saints and Sinners Irish Wish Knox Goes Away Late Night with the Devil The Listener Little Wing Love Lies Bleeding Megamind vs. the Doom Syndicate Night Shift One Percenter Outlaw Posse Peter Five Eight Problemista Shirley Sleeping Dogs Snack Shack The Thundermans Return Winnie-the-Pooh: Blood and Honey 2
