I think you got the planet wrong. Ro finds the Leveler on Rystan, not on Talor. He is accompanied by a Talortai though.

It could be related to the "sin committed against the nameless" mentioned in the prophecy of the chosen one in "Master and Apprentice." It's been long speculated that The Nameless (whoever they are) are an important part of the High Republic because they've been mentioned in a lot of Claudia and Cavan's works and concept art of monsters called "the nameless" appear in the High Republic reveal video, showing them as grotesque monsters. The Leveler could be one of the nameless!!!! Also, there was an organization in High Republic Adventures and Race to Crashpoint Tower called "The Elders of the Path." This could be related to the capitalized "Path." "The Elders preached that the Force was like "fire" and that it should not be sensed by any living being." - Wookieepedia. This definitely sounds a lot like what Alex was speculating in this video.

Your speculations aged great! I think în a way that the Under-Dweeler was Planet X's dark side avatar and the Protector was its light avatar. The Under-Dweller hatched or rather stole the eggs and wanted to deploy them in the galaxy. I can't shake Yoda's words:"they(the nameless) could be in pain." Maybe they were corrupted before their birth... Also, hope we get to know Marchion's actual name, as he himself stated that this was not his name. Because I have a wild speculation on that.

Their reverence for the Leveler as being able to give peace through suppression of people’s connection to the Force might indicate a kind of “anti-Force” cult that aims to eradicate the force to obtain ultimate freedom, comparable to Kreia’s nihilism in Legends. It’s not Dark Side as such, since rather than trying to control the Force like the Sith they could be trying to free themselves from any influence from the Cosmic Force all together

Verla in the star wars comics between episode 5 and 6 theorises to Luke Skywalker that the Force is a trap, that lures in people and uses them to fulfill its wishes. Legends speculates that the Force is more neutral than expected. And how the Force influences the Lothal Rebels shows that it's not afraid to manipulate timelines to achieve its goals to protect the World Between Worlds

@@Cullyace18 The reason why I say that is because I remember one day he was doing something about the high republic and he mentioned how he doesn’t really like the middle grade or young adult stories it’s still Star Wars no matter what To quote him he said they’re not really made with me in mind like what is that supposed to mean it’s still Star Wars whether it’s middle grade or young adult I have to admit I don’t like two of the stories that came out from the high republic it was a middle grade and young adult but not because it was for their age group it was because the stories are kind of boring but don’t dismiss them out of hand just because they’re for younger audience it’s still Star Wars that’s what I like about Disney Star Wars they’re making it for adults middle grade and young adults I am not a toxic fan like some people I still like Star Wars legends but I would say Disney Star Wars is much better in the novel category most of Star Wars legends were geared toward adult fans only

Alex is usually pretty good about putting qualifiers into his reviews like saying “but that’s just my opinion” especially if a certain book or episode didn’t appeal to him. Maybe he just forgot or perhaps he is catering to a more adult age audience and felt the younger age high republic novels might not appeal to adults as much as the novels written for adult age folks. I just think you can’t base your entire opinion of the channel based on one episode.

In Light of the Jedi, when Marchion rose to power and took control of the Nihil, he also changed his helmet to the dome-shaped one with an “eye” pattern in the middle.

I was surprised there was almost no talk on what he looks like after his appearance in the comic. The weird thing is how he looks in the comic is not how he was explained in Rising storm. Rising storm explain him having stars on his face and shoulders but the comic does not show that. So it's either the comic forgot to put them in or they are new tattoos that he got between the stories

I dont know, not too big of a fan of the backround music. It seems to dip in and out of notice and when it does it kind of works counter to what you are talking about. Not opposed to backround music in general tho. Maybe try out a few different tunes to see what videbs :)

I dont think so, He was a Mune, & the timeline doesnt fit. But, i do think there'll be a relation somewhere along the line to the sith, i think the high republic show 'The Acoylte' is about a sith apprentice, so i think its likely that the show might focus on Plagueis' master, although not sure if that makes sense timeline wise.
