3:37 Porter is also the "Blade of Bardotta", a title he is very guilty about. He seems pretty longed lived, and either way I feel like he was involved in the conflict between the Jedi Order and the Dagoyan Order 4:59 You also didn't mention that the Tarkin family's weird fascist hunter ethos isn't something that's unique to them, they just follow Eriadu's old ways. It's implied, but Kassav's internal narration describes the Eriadians as predators like the Nihil. And while the Republic wanted to take as many as they could alive, when the Eriadians boarded Kassav's ship, they slaughtered the Nihil to a man. Very Tarkin like.

@depreseo4 жыл бұрын
As @wookie Talks has already mentioned as of now (this post) there are only 3 High Republic books which have been released. "Light of the Jedi" (the main launching off point book), "Into the Darkness" (the launching book for the Young Adult line of HR books), and "A test of courage" (the launching book for young readers). All of these books are set up as launching off points for the high republic as different age groups/readers with different levels of reading strength can join in at whatever level they are comfortable with to enjoy the new era. So far I've only read "Light of the Jedi" and I understand everything that's going on without having to read the other books. The main characters for the Young Adult and younger reader books are mentioned once but more as a way of saying that "these characters do exist, their adventure are valid and you can also follow their adventures in this new era but theirs is not the story being told here". So you can just read the main line of High Republic Books without having to dip your toes in any of the other YA or younger reader books unless you really want to.

Slight spoilers. They're sorta barbarian esque in nature, but their leaders are fairly smart. Think of them kinda like baddies from Mad Max. Their biggest advantage is that they use a particular skill in the force (fairly certain it's the force, and I believe only one person is capable of doing it) to chart unknown routes through hyperspace, that can lead them to very specific points, allowing them to basically warp anywhere on a battlefield. Above, below, beside, or even behind their enemies. I'm fairly certain I got all of that right. They call the charted routes, Paths.
