You should ride on to Marocco, Algeria and Tunesia. And then from Tunis or Laqualette take a boat to Palermo and from their slowly back to home. An epic ride. A tip. Buy some handwarmers. Those that react to air and 70 degrees Celsius for a couple of hours. With some tape you can attach one or two to the outside of your t-shirt. This will keep your body warm. Your whole body will benefit. I always did this. At the start of my trip i made sure that i had at least ten of those handwarmers. I also used them in the night in my sleepingbag when it was around 3 or 4 a clock. Used a waterbottle with some socks and warm water but in the middle of the night this gets cold and i did not like it to get out of the sleepingbag to heat up water. But it is so important to stay warm. Cause it will take all your energy. I have also a simple electric pad. 20 by 20 cm. And it gets real hot with a 5 volt powerbank. Tucked between the feet it makes so much difference. Depending on the powerbank it can last for 10 hours. And through the day you can recharge the powerbank. When your that cold you have no more energy left to get warm in a sleepingbag. And you also need to concentrate at the road. I have a Shubert Helmet. With some space in it. Also taped a handwarmer inside it. It can keep your head warm. Becoming a bit creative is sometimes a must. Those electric 5 volt pads you can order with Wish. A few euro's. When i received it i thougt o well throw it away sucker. But it is an amazing little piece of gear for people like us. I was pleasently surprised. Although i own a two piece sleepingbag system you can't take everything with you cause it is much to bulky. So with handwarmers and that 5 volt pad i can stay warm. It also saved me in an emergency situation when my bike broke and i had to wait until next morning. One in every boot. One between my bud.😇 And also what you probably have experienced by now that the duration of riding in the cold is what is letting you freeze till the bone. Once had to drive when it was minus 23 degrees Celsius. My nose and chin also still feels it. And back then i was starting to get afraid for my eyes. Sorry for the long text but it is so easy to battle the cold a bit without having full electrical gear. And those handwarmers you can buy them everywhere. Use it with some tape. Please keep riding safe and hope to watch your next video.

Hey man, thanks for the tips! Much appreciated! I do have those pads and also have an electric heated vest on me + heated motorcycle grips. So actually I could handle the temperatures pretty okay. I will talk a bit more about it in upcoming videos. Also I have a battery handwarmer that I put in my sleeping bag at night when I get cold. Helps a lot. Unfortunately many camping sites on the way where closed cause of winter and Pandemic so I had to go for cheap hotels more often. You‘ll see in upcoming videos. Kees what is the situation now with Morocco - Algerian border? All the sources online suggest it is closed and has been closed since 1994... The only way to get out of Morocco is via Mauritania but to get there you have to cross Western Sahara, which is a bit dodgy at the moment

Respect for the willpower. I went on my 990SMT few days befor Christmas from Huelva (Spain Atlantic coast) to Frankfurt Main. Through France and A5/A3 there was a little bit under 0 Celsius. It was funny to check my own endurance in my summer suit too. You are not alone :).
