We are struggling!

It comes and goes the locals say. When it comes it almost blows me off my electric motorcycle. Very stormy day and I’m attempting to ride the steepest road in the UK. Hardknott pass in the Lake District is a true challenge (especially for the bicyclists I meet on the way down). My drone is fighting the wind like a champion and the only one goes up there like it’s nothing is EVE. A truly amazing motorcycle adventure with stunning views on short commuter city bike;) how about that…

For this Video and for all the videos i do at home, not being out with the bike i use Final Cut since for me it was the easiest to use program with a very intuitive Interface and cool colorgrading options.

I find it amazing how Marc can control the drone and ride the motorcycle at the same time. I played with a drone some time ago and it is really not that easy to control something in 3D space. Riding the motorcycle at the same time is 2nd level multitasking !

Top tip. When putting on waterproofs over your boots, Put a plastic carrier bag over your boots and then put on the waterproofs which should just slide on with no problem ;)

Recommended destination for a weekend - Matlock and it’s near-neighbour Matlock Bath, because in the weekend afternoons there are always bikers galore gather, and it is a beautifully scenic iconic even, town. Matlock Bath is the one to go to, river on one side, and cliffs all around, special place. You and your other half will love it even in Autumn - in fact, glorious colours about now. Head out of Wales and across and up a bit. If not this tour, then the next one. Stay safe, and try to keep warm is my advice. I ended up wrapping my torso in silver-foil bubble wrap. The UK is a testing homeland for anyone outdoors. Take care all.

In Brigg near broughton were I live there's a place called Brigg marina ,it's a delightful place ,chalettes there ,coffee shops ,plenty of chargers etc ,then to the Humber bridge if you've never seen it ,on the way out of Brigg there's a cannon on a round about ,good seen for a photo 👍 have fun mate were ever you go ✌️🍀

The Lake District has lakes for a reason. It rains a lot there. That road you were on, for your bike its perfect, I have done that road on the worst possible bike, a Suzuki Intruder 1800, which does not corner very well on those insane bends.

As you discovered - those lakes in the Lake District are there for a reason - it rains a lot. 🙂 More beautiful filmography today, thank you and well done. I'm wondering how easy an electric bike made the Hardknott Pass. I can't imagine not having the clutch control of an ICE bike in tight situations like that. I've seen people with poor clutch/engine control drop their bikes on the hairpin bends up there. Riding the Hardknott Pass at this time of year is a good idea. In the summer it's clogged with cars/ vans / motorhomes and is hell on wheels best avoided unless doing it early/late in the day. Enjoy Wales, it's a beautiful place. Stay safe.

Just came across a Tesla driver attempting to charge at a recently installed unit....not at all happy as he had to register with yet another supplier and got the response; "We are not able to help you at the moment". As an American, it's really weird seeing how narrow all these roads are. Here our roads get wider out in the country typically. Even low use limited access roads are typically at least 2 full lanes wide, with at least 1 foot of run off on each side.

Doing well Marc logistics are a challenge.. what’s missing is a little more info on where you are! Topography, terrain, history, stuff that is beyond the ride. We all do grunts and whistles, you have scope for more content, the names of some of the places you’ll go through are intriguing and relate to your own heritage go for it!
