I love the taste of this avocado. I say the pumpkin in the name comes from it’s size and shape which resembles a pumpkin. One of my favorites.

Definitely worth trying. Excellent tasting avocado with reminiscent taste of a Hass.

Thanks Paul. I have watched you taste test many avocados and mangoes. When you are excited about the taste, I always wonder if your taste buds and mines are similar. I have tasted the Marcus Pumpkin and I too was not impressed with it. This video shows that our taste buds are similar. Thanks for all you do.

You should go see Mike at Trees N More. His Marcus pumpkin tree had 100’s of of 3-4 pound fruit this year! Truly a spectacle.

I would love to hear about Alex's "Taylor" avocado variety. He grows one tree at Tropical Acres & I briefly remember him talking about it on one of your videos. I know it is pure Guatemalan but apparently more cold hardy? I would love to know about its growth habits and fruit quality. Please!

I seem to recall Julian Lara mentioning Taylor. Isn't it similar to Hass, but more suited to South Florida? Paul's been ignoring his fans lately. Maybe he's too busy. We had huge questions about Maria Black vs. Improved Pollock, but he didn't respond. Enquiring minds want to know!

@@johnbanach3875 I did a search and could not find anything onJulian Lara and the Taylor avocado. Alex from tropical acres sold me the "Taylor" variety in a 3g pot and it has been in ground since 4/1/21. I am attempting to grow in NW FL zone 9a. Immaculate looking tree thus far.

@@wellsbuzzett6479 Did you watch the Q&A videos that Paul did with Julian Lara last summer? I'm almost positive that Julian mentioned the Taylor avocado. I remember him saying it was just like Hass. But I don't see it listed on his website.

Hey Paul! Can you do a video on the Utuado Avocado? It's supposed to be the most cold hardy but curious about the taste

Utuado is from Puerto Rico. Where did you see it described as cold hardy? Because It most likely isn’t

@@TropicalAcresFarms I am from Puerto Rico and Utuado is the coldest part of PR. I have seen people comment that they do well even north of Orlando.

Why are the leaves so thin is this normal by having lack of leaves or does this tree have a disease, if it's watery then using seeds for rootstock sounds like the main advantage of growing , if you want to grow better taste large type then grow cannonball out of California.

@@FruitfulTrees ya I'm not sure either if the tree is on a major decline for some reason, I'm amazed it's still producing with bare limbs.
