Really like this video. Kampong is definitely the best late season avocado. The combination of taste, oil content, high cold hardiness, and ability to stay on the tree until March makes it the best if you can only have one late season avocado.

It was named for the estate of Dr. David Fairchild, its place of origin." I'm surprised you never took a tour of the Kampong, which is a National Tropical Botanical Garden, located in Coconut Grove, Miami, Florida.

Why can't you grow Hass avocados in FL ? Is it because there is too much salt in the soil ? Or are there other reasons ?

You actually can grow Hass here in Florida, but we’ve had major problems with the fruit being very undersized. Like the size of Jumbo eggs. Smaller than the ones at the supermarkets

aight i need to stop getting houseplants cause then it would turn into it not being good enough so one more citrus tree then its enough no more for me!
