Interesting point at 5:30 - I've honestly felt that too many people shy away from talking about and showcasing the reality of running business because the reality is that it's exactly as you describe -- it's repetitive and frankly quite "boring" at times. That said, I think that's what more people appreciate now -- a real look at your life/day as opposed to a glamorised scripted day based on what people would like to think businesses do day-to-day. Really enjoyed this vid!

For me when I was competing in XC and track the best thing to stay mentally focused was to not think whatever that be look at ground for each rep or mile , and to just stare at the back of whoever is running in front of u and just zone out. The moment you start thinking about what you are doing is the moment when you can start doubting yourself (at least this is what was helpful for me in HS and College)

Gastrocnemius tendinopathy is what you are describing your symptoms as. You just have to rest, Ice, and compress, don't compress too hard back there as you have veins and arteries. I love to use tiger balm for any muscle soreness from running, highly recommend!!
