Wow! My heart bleeds to see our ancient temples in this condition. These temples have seen great utsavams and Six times pujas once and they are like this because we Hindus don't care and left everything in the hands of dirty politicians.

It is because Hindu Social Self Governance was murdered by socialism. Most of the Temples had lands and treasury which was used to maintain the temple and the Hindu community in that village. If we go back to the Kula Sampradaya and the idea of Grama. Hindus united the whole of Bharatha Kanda not by sword but through the tradition or Sampradaya especially Kula Sampradaya.. establishing Grama as people moved to new lands. Where a Sthapathi chose the best place to establish a Grama based on Sthala Purana and establishing a Grama Devatha, Nagara Devatha and there by establishing the social order. Most villages today are devoid of the old traditions. The Indian secular government has taken over revenue all temples which has no care takers to those forcefully taken over. The entire social order of Hindus was collapsed by socialism leaving the social institutions of Hindus as orphans. The death of Hinduism. The Vaccum of which is being filled by poor culture much like Kannada Film industry, the quality of life and values people pursue is all about anarchy!

Each Grama or collection of Grama had a Purohitha. The only way Hindu temple Existed in those places is because of Hindu Social Self Governance. Socialism destroyed Hindu Social self Governance. With nobody to act as the trustee and no land, property and revenue the upkeep of any institution and a system become impossible. The only way to ensure perpetuity is to increase the patronage. So enter Business Management! People need to market and sell as bad as it sounds the only way to save it is to sell the idea of faith not for greed but to save the tradition for our future.
