I remember being impressed by her performance in Black Christmas as a child in 1983 and then being pleased to discover many years after Margot Kidder was playing the part. She was so true to herself, honest, brave, brilliant and beautiful. She was a plus in the movie even though she sleeps in a drunken stupor for about 30 minutes of the film😆

4 years before she was cast as Lois lane on Superman, did Black Christmas in 1973 til release who had bipolar disorder as chain smoker that’s just hard go to thru and had battle addictions with drugs and Alcohol just while playing Barb that isn’t an act including dirty humor she does amazing!😂 Rip Margot Kidder😑💔

I’m pretty sure that after the 4 uses of the c word, fellatio was no problem. That period between 72 and 75 was unique, in that you could get scenes like those past censors. Thereafter and today, it just wouldn’t happen.

@BC is indeed the OG progenitor of the North American slasher genre and is, in fact, essentially the prequel to Halloween, as Carpenter took direct inspiration from Bob Clark’s film when making Halloween 4 years later, which would go on to popularize the genre.Essentially Billy IS Michael, in rough draft form.

I cant help but feel that her death was not a suicide, but in fact a murder perpertrated by people hired by her ex mcguane..whom she was deathly afraid of and the cause of her 1994 breakdown.. and it was staged to look like an overdose... she never published her book about their abusive marriage after he deleted it from her laptop in 1994 prior to her breakdown after he hired people to attack her after he discovered her book which called him out for his physical and emotional abuse during and after their marriage.. 😢
