►►Two mistakes in this one: When a Stranger Calls actually came out 4 years after Black Christmas, in 1979; and Olivia Hussey's clown harassment came SIXTEEN years later, not twenty-six, in 1990's It. ►DEAD MEAT SHIRTS NOW AVAILABLE FOR PRE-ORDER at www.deadmeatstore.com. They'll ship by the end of the year! ►►Support me at patreon.com/deadmeatjames for as little as $1 a month and get rewards such as full-length commentary tracks for movies on Netflix, early releases, review videos, and more! ►I'm currently plotting out a schedule for the first quarter of 2018. I'll have a video out revealing it at the end of this month or the beginning of January. ►►Thanks for watching - comment with your favorite joke!

The moaner in this movie is based off a real killer around these times who would stalk people and call them before killing them with creepy conversations. After killing them however, he would call the cops while crying sayin that he killed someone. When caught they asked why he was always crying. I saw this movie as a teenager in the mid 2000s. Both my dad and my best friend’s dad were big fans of 60s, 70s and 80s horror. I have a lot of fun memories bonding with my friends over these old gems we found in their VHS collections. But oh my gosh. This one was NOT fun. This one wasn’t just disturbing, it actually scared me to my core. The other movies had ghosts, aliens, werewolves, and demons. This one just has a single sociopath. It could happen in real life. It does happen in real life. To this day I’m still terrified of ordinary things like basement windows and the space between the door and the wall. I even knew the scene was coming and I still gasped in horror on that eyeball zoom. I’m a damn adult now. Honestly though, I love Black Christmas for impacting me so much.

Peter's character hit on a different level because I had the same experience. Granted it wasn't in the 70s where it must have been an uphill battle to get an abortion, but I still got freaked out on by the sperm donor because he didn't get the "my Body, My choice" memo. I will never understand how there are men so dead set on making sure a woman gives them a child, regardless of the circumstances. He had no job, she didn't either, his thing that could have taken him places with the piano didn't work out, but he STILL wants to have a lifetime commitment to a screaming crap cannon that costs millions of dollars a minute? Like....there's a serial killer hiding in a party house and I'm more creeped out by this guy?!

Jess is way worse, she is basically a psychopath. “I know you have a big audition in an hour but I want you to know that you created a child that you already love but I don’t care, I’m going to murder it anyway. Merry Christmas” Jess is the worst.

I always enjoy watching your videos and how much depth you put into your research. To add to that, I think Billy is one of the most chill-inducing villains in horror history. We barely know what his past is; he can go from unstable to calm and collected in an instant, and the audience is only given a slight glimpse of him. For all the characters' knowledge and ours, the audience's, Billy could look like any one of us. In fact, most of us have probably passed a "Billy" in our lives and didn't realize it.

I want to bash my head off a table after even knowing of black christmas (2019). I haven't seen the 2006 reboot at all but it's probably better than the remake. It's all about female empowerment even though in 2019 theres enough of that. Theres still a problem we need to solve, but it's not being fought by saying men are lazy tubs of lard who sit and don't work hard like women do. I miss when feminism was about equality and not about making everything about girls. Men have feelings too, feminists.
