I made this Pizza today and it was fantastic Having been on the protein sparing fast for about a week , 3 days at the time and then switching it up a day and then starting again I’ve become quite accomplished at baking the wonderbread and I love it so much Eating this way has gotten rid of the inflammation markers in my body and I feel energized, satisfied and healthy eating this way Thank you so much Maria for all your delicious creations and all your motivational podcasts

Hi Maria thank you for your PSMF bread recipe! I live in Ireland and will have to use whey protein instead cos we don't have egg white protein available! Tip for your son to be able to separate the eggs... break the egg into a small bowl, reach in with your (washed) hand and lift out the yolk with no breakage! Tip from John Torode Masterchef judge on Junior Masterchef a few years ago. G Ire

It's difficult with some cured meats like pepperoni. Get one that is sugar free or at the very least one where sugar is VERY low on the ingredients list (it is used for the curing process) and 0 carb 🙏

You bake the crust, like the directions say, then add all the tops and sauces, then freeze it. It will last weeks if not months in the freezer.

What is the texture of the crust like? Meringue? Primal Kitchen is uber expensive...maybe too expensive for us median income folks. You can simply use plain tomato sauce with some olive oil and spices instead of buying a premade sauce.

Whey is dairy and can be inflammatory. Protein is very important for breast feeding, make sure you are meeting or exceeding your protein macro. Also be sure and stay hydrated. :)

I followed the directions to a T but it came out BAD. It looked delicious but the crust felt like I was chewing on styrofoam or a sponge. I know this because as a child, I chewed on styrofoam lol. I may try it again and reduce the cooking time, but idk.

I really wanted to like this recipe because I use and enjoy the PSMF Bread nearly every day. But, it was so much like chewing a piece of Styrofoam that I finally scraped my toppings off and just ate those and threw the crust away. Sorry, Maria. Just didn't work for me.

I have been wanting to jump in with the Keto & PSMF lifestyle, but to be honest I am struggling with finding ANY recipe that is an acceptable substitute for REAL bread! I've made keto bread & it has a texture and taste that I can't deal with. I tried the PSMF bread and it is truly like eating a mattress! No FLAVOR and the texture is NOTHING like the real thing. I have come to the conclusion that for people who like keto bread or PSMF bread, it has just been too long since they've eatten real honest to good yeast bread and they've forgotten how inimitable it is. I WANT to love this bread, but truthfully it tastes nothing like bread.

Then you are doing something wrong in making it. It should be soft, not necessarily a flavor but not offensive either. Nothing is going to be like bread you used to eat. If you are approaching with that mindset you will not like it. :)
