If only Mariah would know how much she was important to kids , back in the early 90's Music box was our guidance and emotional accompany when we felt our first love , and always played this album at our grade party when we wanted to "slowdance" with our first love , or later at our house when we got back from the party and wanted to think about our first love Mariah was a true angel back then , and will be always remembered as a genuine source of love and maturation emotions

"Everything Fades Away" Baby, don't tell me you miss me, you love me Don't whisper gently that you can't forget me Tonight, tonight 'Cause I've heard it all before Just turn away, don't play that game Baby, I don't want to anymore Let it all fade away Don't you know that love is gone? It's too late Everything fades away Nothing ever stays the same Baby, no, no, no Don't tell me you're sorry you hurt me How many times can I give in? How many battles can you win? Oh, don't beg for mercy tonight, tonight 'Cause I can't take anymore Just turn around, don't break me down Baby, I don't love you like before Let it all fade away Don't you know that love is gone? It's too late Everything fades away Nothing ever stays the same, baby, oh, oh So hard for me to let you go (So hard) Don't leave me standing in the cold (Don't leave me standing, darling) Oh, baby, give me one more chance I know that we can make it last (I know) Just let me love you one more time (Don't say it) Girl, I don't wanna lose my mind (Don't say it, say it) So hard for me to let you go So hard for me to let you go Let it all fade away (Why don't you?) Love is gone, it's too late (The love is gone, baby, it's too late) Everything fades away Nothing ever stays the same, babe Nothing ever stays the same Let it all fade away Love is gone, it's too late (The love is gone, baby, it's too late) Everything fades away (Every, everything, fades away) It only fades, it only fades Only fades, it only fades Baby, don't tell me you miss me, you love me It only fades, it only fades, only fades, it only fades Baby, don't tell me you miss me, you love me It only fades, it only fades, only fades, it only fades Baby don't tell me you miss me, you love me It only fades, it only fades, only fades, it only fades

Well, once again, after, i don't know 10 or more times in between reading most of the comments and pressing LIKE , this one song somehow leaves me craving to listen to it one more time. I especially like the video with your crew and JoJo, same thing over and over. I must say MARIAH this one song is overwhelming, it is. ❤umc

A song that would be the highlight of anybody else thats having a career in singing. This song is so devastating, and such an original work of heartbroken art, this is MC the master of melancholy in full bloom. This hidden gem underlines how underrated Mariahs pen game remains today. Soulful, modern R&B at its most sophisticated A+

The first time I heard this song I was left speechless. I was was in shock and awe. One of her best songs. The outro is perfection. So happy we get this on the album. I have a cd with this as the bside and I cherished it for years.

Is that Will Downing doing the bridge section lead vocal there!!!??? Incredible vocals, lead and background. The theme is dark and sombre, yet catchy at the same time. One of her best!!!😍❤❤❤

This song is so hauntingly beautiful. This and “Do You Think Of Me” are my favorite moody Mariah songs. I listen to them every day on the way to work before the sun comes up and it’s such a peaceful start to my day 💙💙💙
