Hi everyone! ☀️⠀ Today I have a little center part of a ballet class 🙌🏻 I try to do combinations similar to these ones every day at home so I filmed them just as an option for you guys 🤗 ⠀ Leave your thoughts in the comments and have a beautiful day! 😘⠀

Hello :3 I was wondering if you would consider doing an in-depth video discussing the positions of the arms? I've taken a couple of different classes in NYC (online) that were "vaganova based" but got two different answers to my question :P My college professors disagree also lol. I have a Vaganova book, but I find the pathways a bit difficult to imagine on my own body.

WOW! This is a total dream come true to see you rehearse these sequences up close, and hear your guidance while doing them. Thank you so much from the bottom of my heart! There’s something I’ve wanted to ask you for many years, from while you were still a student at vaganova. I feel like now might be my chance to ask you, now that we’re all in quarantine and you’re making these sorts of videos for your fans. I’d be overjoyed if I could have a glimpse of someone of your mastery, a favourite student of the beloved Professer Koveleva, perform this stunning, touching sequence she choreographed for her 1995 exam. kzbin.info/www/bejne/a3erg4B-YsyGZpom37s Set to Tchaikovsky’s Romeo and Juliet love theme. I’ve held this request for so long. I completely understand if it’s too forward of a request. If so, please ignore this. Thank you so much one again for this superb videos. Your fans are so fortunate, and you’re a blessing to the ballet world. I have no other words. Thank you

No matter the pose or movement, you always create such beautiful lines and form and delicate athleticism. A delight to follow your lessons. I hope you will continue when the pandemic is over. A big thank you from America.

I wonder if this lockdown is actually a chance for many dancers?! You can work on your technique without a packed schedule of classes, rehearsals and performances, take a break whenever you need it, maybe nurse some small injuries.. what do you think 🤔
@kamilareeder14934 жыл бұрын
it's scary still , but at the same time yeah I think you're right about this :0 . I feel like I have greater access to good training. . Plus we get more videos like these ones from people who are usually too busy to bless us this way :3 doing Khoreva's barre every day has been really good for my pathetic turnout lol.

Not really for people like me who still have to do school. Teachers are giving way more work than what we actually did in school. Now I have very little time to stretch or exercise. Like I hate how teachers think that their class is the most important one so they give out too much work. 😤

I would love it if you can one day talk a little bit about turn out, and how to properly use it and work with it according to the vaganova technique.Turn out is so fundumental to ballet, and it would be so amazing for someone like you to share such precious knowledge. I adore you Maria, you are such an inspiration! Your inteligence, professionalism and good spirit is very special. YOUR VIDEOS ARE AWSOME!! Not everyday you get a chance to have such a personal look at a vaganova trained dancer, and a Mariinsky principle at THAT!!! Your English is great, and the video quality is amazing!! Keep spreading light and inspiration!

Wow, that was an excellent class for home. The video and mic clarity were very good, especially considering that center classes are hard to film. You created a challenging class that was space-conscious at the same time. This is the first time I've attempted a class from your channel, and I'm sorry/not sorry I was in pointe shoes. Thank you

@ 3:35 the muscles that are firing are the upper hamstrings, calves and intrinsic muscles of the foot, hip flexors and gluteal. The trick is learning how to actively use these muscles while feeling the length through the limbs. I hope that explains the execution correctly.

See how she is using very her center and very little muscle? This is correct for less injury and a long life of dancing. She only engages the muscles that she needs to hold positions and move through the movement this is why proper training and placement is so important.
