I feel like 7pm on a Sunday which is usually most people's "rest day" or "reset day" ahead of the week, it's a bit late. When something starts at 7pm it kinda starts at 9pm realistically (black timing 🤣) I personally would have gone if the person is someone I really care about but defo would be feeling like I need the Monday off of work or something. Also its a baby shower, feel like its an afternoon event that goes into the evening/ night ❤

Planning baby showers for my friends, we normally do it from midday-afternoon, so it gives brunch vibes, and everyone can relax in the evening and night, especially the pregnant person.

Realistically 7pm is late because yes, maybe most people are still awake at 7pm on a Sunday but they are rested at home prepping for the week. Being out at 7pm on a Sunday is a bit much. Especially for 9-5 people 🤷🏾‍♀️

As a person who has been organizing Babyshowers for my friends I've always done it on a Saturdays from 1/2 pm till 6/7 pm. It's enough time to eat + activities. Then we can all rest on Sunday from that eventfull day. Especially the mom. So starting at 7pm is way to late especially if you are the one organizing and doing the cleaning up afterwards.

The being broke bit really made me lol cos I’ve been there. One time I was talking to a guy, we left his house and he decided to put petrol in his car. While we were there he realised he had left his wallet in his other coat and it was those petrol stations where you either put a physical card in to use it or you’ll have to go into the shop to pay with Apple Pay. He was like do you have a card on you then I’ll send back the money? It was not a big deal to him, he was ok to go in and pay but it still eats me up inside yrs later cos I didn’t have enough for anything let alone a full tank😭😭😭
