Yes, for part two for the scarf video. I have a 53 inch light weight wool twill green floral scarf, not as easy to wear as the small scarves. Thank you. Would like more ideas for the larger scarves.

These videos are my favourite! Love this one in particular! I live in Italy and we have many house dresses... In summer my favourites are in super thin cotton material ... so easy to wear, wash by hand, hang outside during the night and wear them again the next day!

Yes, please to another scarf video, I adore wearing silk scarves and have for forty years. They add so much femininity, softness, color, pattern and interest to my mostly, solid-color wardrobe. I also love them for making real outfits from two odd color separates, I just find a scarf with both and it ties them together beautifully. My only rule is that the scarf has to contain at least one or preferably, two or more, of the colors I’m wearing. Otherwise it can look weird. It’s not difficult to find great silk scarves and I have a big collection of them.

I just got a beautiful navy linen dress from The White Company, in that kaftan style. I looked for ages for a navy linen dress without gathers, frills, etc., and this one is perfect. I’ll wear it with tan leather and canvas accessories, my new Romeo bag from Sezane is perfect, and my white linen blazer for when in the AC. I like to belt mine for going out, to show some shape, but just wear it loose for relaxing at home, it’s so airy and cool. I finally have a good collection of linen dresses, about 5 or 6 in my favorite colors and one print, they’re lifesavers in the heat. They’re all ironed and ready to go, but summer is late in arriving this year, it’s still barely getting to a high of about 70F. Not that I’m complaining one bit, I hate hot weather, but with the right clothes, I can face it better.

This dresses are so good but unfortunately I’m one of the people that just simply can’t wear light colours. I literally can go weeks in something dark without spilling anything and a minute I put on light colour outfit I’m covered with stains! The flat-front, elastic-back waistband of the shorts is perfect. Without at least some elastic, trousers, skirts and shorts can slide right down and off my skinny hips, it’s not safe for me to wear them. I once briefly “lost” a suede skirt this way, in a grocery store, and almost died of mortification. If a bottom garment like that, that I otherwise love, doesn’t have any elastic I sew a strip of it to the back inside waistband, slightly stretched to pull the waistband snug, problem solved. I could choose a much tighter size in a fixed waistband, of course, but I hate suffering that feeling of being cut in half. I wish more clothes had, at least partly, elastic waistbands, it would improve the wearability for everyone. I always seem to have a waist measurement in between two sizes, some elastic at the waist would solve that problem and accommodate more figures, comfortably. Most women my age, 63 have bigger waists, relatively speaking, than young women do, they thicken around menopause.
