I was born in 1990 and I feel the same way. There are things we will never be able to experience like it was... Live Aid, Woodstock, early Glastonbury, etc. But there are others we can enjoy... this new wave of indie bands (Turnover, Swimming Tapes, Wild Nothing, etc.) are really interesting and have its own thing revolving around them.

I wish I was born in my 80s too. I was also born in 1995 exactly 26 years ago. My father always heard a lot of 80 year old songs, I think that's why I love this music so much. But even if I watch the concert without cell phones, only sparklers are so beautiful.✨
@rafalmarkiewicz63133 жыл бұрын
You are extrimely lucky you were born in late 90’s else you would have already been in your 50’s or 60’s. You still have much better access to the music you like from 80’s than those days but live concerts (which you can watch in HD and great quality sound). Imagine growing up in 80’s behind the iron curtain with no English bands concerts, no LP’s, only radio and crap TV, no internet, no Spotify, no KZbin, and no products in shops and communism without any freedom, thankfully no war. Enjoy your youths lucky you!!!

@@rafalmarkiewicz6313 This is actually true. I remember that in the early days of internet I was looking for a film from the 90s (10 years old only) and I couldn't find any info on that. Nowadays you can not only find the soundtrack, actors, etc. but watch the movie itself, check the personal page of one the actors or check where the hell it was filmed on Google Maps. And, Kayleigh, could we get it together again? I just can't go on pretending That it came to a natural end Kayleigh, oh I never thought I'd miss you And, Kayleigh, I thought that we'd always be friends We said our love would last forever So how did it come to this bitter end? Do you remember? Barefoot on the lawn with shooting stars Do you remember? The loving on the floor in Belsize Park Do you remember? Dancing in stilettoes in the snow Do you remember? You never understood I had to go By the way, didn't I break your heart? Wir waren Damals im Logo. Eine geile Disco in Koblenz. Da hatte ich das Lied das erste mal gehöhrt und war begeistert. Leider kommen diese zeiten nicht zurück. Die Laserschow war einfach Bombastisch

Have had this concert on DVD for at least 15 years. This performance was not long after the release of Clutching at Straws and you can see Fish is still motivated. Good vibes on stage. Timeless quality.

2 1/2 months after this recording, I got to see Marillion in Poughkeepsie, NY at The Chance - 600 people, great show! And I still have my ticket stub (even scanned it a few years back and posted it on FB)

Assisti no Estádio do Morumbi em São Paulo/ Brasil nos anos 80, tudo ao vivo, sem protools ou truques pré gravados. Sensacional.
