One lyrical and musical beauty! From Marbles on the road 2004 in London.

I can't believe that no-one has commented on this gem. Always one of my favourite tracks from "Holidays In Eden", I loved the way that, on the "Marbles" tour, it was slotted between "Bridge"/"Living With The Big Lie" from "Brave and "The Great Escape" from that same album, to create a kind of 'mini-Brave'. It fitted perfectly.

I've lived these lyrics for a while when I met an enchanter once. I need to remember where I've been.

Reliving my youth, dam I forgot how fricking awesome and timeless Marillion are! The Fish era was great to but, post Fish is also just as, and then it was yesterday! So Im having another bottle of Dragons milk beer as its Friday and us old people don't like to sleep in case we don't wake. up! X

Its about that first time you get into something when you're young. When you don't really know what's going on and maybe you're a bit out of your depth. We've all been there as a teenager, with all these new experiences hitting you all at once. First its exciting and then you begin to get a bit scared when the realisation of what you've done comes home to you. Just such a great story, one of the things that Hogarth is very good at, a small personal story. @marooned007

Well i was wondering why nobody did comment this magical video. The party has always been an underrated track from my point of view, just because the fans found it "too much commercial" with the HIE album. So thanks for your comment and cheers!

this album was a tentative to seduce mainstream public but it litteraly failed. Plenty of 3mn songs with pretty commercial options... except this one and Splintering Heart. In my own opinion.
