So my feedback after using my own Marincess deck, gonna be a little long : - I like the fact of you running Solemns but since the deck struggles a lot going second, I think Ghost ogre would be better. - My version doesn't run Paleo, but I really like them, especially for Anomalocaris being able to pop things cause field removal is pretty much impossible with Marincesses by themselves. - Sea archiver is a good option as well to have you towers turn one if you can't manage to have Tang, Slug, and Mandarine. Of course Cynet Mining cause it can search everything and ofc bait an Ash. - As a tech, the blue Codec cyberse (you know the one which permits to summon a Code Talker by using it as material from hand) is really good if you don't have impermanence or Wave cause it can negate one monster effect + it reduces the attack to 0. Also, since you run the water Code Talker (you could also run the Earth code Talker for a free monster reborn and field presence but make sure you DON'T ACTIVATE ANEMONE EFFECT BEFORE), you have a way to attack multiple times + gaining advantage if you don't Otk them. - I run two Gameciels cause Kaiju will always be useful... also the mirror match is crazy annoying without them. - Gozen Match/Rivalry is amazing as side options. I think the deck is more than decent, especially against decks like Skystrikers. The big problem is the lack of protection for the field spell as it permits their particular gimmick. Handtraps aren't that powerful against the deck (well unless you opened blue tang and 4 "dead cards", I managed to make a n Anemone + Toadally Awesome through one Ash and one impermanence). The link 4 if summoned with Heart is broken cause she's a waboku on legs with Towers attribute. Finally... the surprise factor is amazing cause people just don't know what the deck does.

Thr direction they took on the second wave is definitely strange (well I know that it just follows the anime but still). Well Konami is known to make archetypes good if it wants them to be good, so I look forward to the future support.

The two cards not from the anime (Blue Tang/ Dory as I like to call her and Sea Angel) are really the two best cards from the second wave, and Mandarin who's effect wasn't revealed in the anime. So yeah if it weren't for those I think they would have struggled a little bit

Knowing my crazy ideas, my build is probably as far from toptier as you can get for a marincess deck. They have non matching levels and water has been quite good with synchro in the past so hopefully they get a good synchro in the anime (totally not biased from someone who got into the game during the 5D's era).

It’s interesting to look at frogs in the history of the meta. Ever since their introduction they have found a place in the meta one way or another. First as tribute fodder in monarch decks which was their purpose up until pendulum era, which is when they got Toadally which turned them into a trap stun deck with paleos and now they are kind of a generic water engine.

One of the link 1's says add 1 marincess 'spell' so i'm pretty positive that they will receive more spell support in the future. Maybe something like salamangreat rage would be nice as the deck has like 0 removal.

what i am about to say is just pure theory and i have no playtesting with it whatsoever, but if i were to try out marincess i think a nimble engine (3 beaver, 3 angler, 2 sunfish 2 manta) alongside 3 genex undine with the frog engine does not sound like a bad idea. it basically gives a way to vomit enough water monsters to create multiple marincesses and exploit their facilitated summons. angler not being once per turn is kinda nuts and could provide enough to overpower through handtraps. the only main issue i can see is potential bricks but like i said earlier i have yet to test it, food for thought to whomever wants to try it out. Excellent video Lithium, i expect more videos with this archtype in the future if possible.

They need a march of the monarch type spell card that states all face up Marincess spell/trap cards can’t be destroyed by your opponents card effects as long as you control a marincess link monster. And it would be searchable via the link 1 and fished out by blue tang. Would it be over powered? Maybe? Idk komoney’s done crazier things in the past🤷‍♂️

It doesn't work. I only play with water decks. I put both together. If you make it Mermail/Atlantean-Frog heavy you just end up summoning Nepta.....no real way to get seahorse to grave except foolish or Undine. With the new support you just end up relying on Blue Tang. Basically Mermails need their normal summons for Neptabyss so you can pitch the dragoons, to get the megalo, you know the rest....well Marincess need Blue tang to pitch Seahorse so you can't do both.

The frogs are 100% staples, Aqua Spirit can fit too with Blue Tang for Abyss Dweller, triple Cynet Myning needs to be main too, Formud Skipper still there, but isn't super great, and I don't recommend it personally, but you can use One for One for him and Mandarin, Impermanence is necessary, Ningirsu could fit considering the amount of Links you summon but I've not tried it, Gameciel could have space too, Mermails sounds good in theory but they don't complement each other very well.

Ning isn't water so it would be a bit of an issue to summon, remember that a marincess link gets the towers treatment only if it's in the emz so i'd consider it a bit redundant to try and actively end on two links, and despite how cool a 4k towers sounds, it isn't very threatening to end with just a link 4 and the field spell up, even with wave in hand it's still not a good turn 1 board, the deck NEEDS the zoics to give them an extra push and this is coming from a dude who played both versions, if you control the field with the paleos you can go into the link4 the following turns and push for game. toad is still ok as a card

@@Giomitiko You can summon any Link until you don't activate Coral Anemone effect first, certainly the deck has the Towers-like monsters problems, but has the flexibility for run the generic staples and negations, handtraps for compensate some of their weaknesses, needs more, but still competent for now and much more in the future.

The burn card is pretty meh honestly. Bubble Blast destroys itself if your LP are higher than your opponent's, so it only works from behind. And Marincess is a defensive deck without LP payments, so Bubble Blast is way too situational to be good. Look at the restrictions of its anime version (which usually have fewer restrictions than the real life ones) then you'll have an idea on how good or rather bad Bubble Blast would be IRL.

@@danieldragotti2608 You have a point there, but I think if Bubble Blast ever comes out it will have some restrictions on activation frequency by trading some of the existing restrictions for it. That is if Konami is smart, so there's a fifty-fifty chance.

that is clearly a frog deck with Marincess flavoring. A decks title should represent 3/4 of the mon count and at least 1/2 the support from spell/traps... almost no one gets this and I do not understand why. An accurate title would be low-level water deck.

But... Why?? Running pure decks is very rarely going to work very well. You just have to play none archetype cards, especially when the main archetype only really has 3 good monsters, a field spell and a trap card.
