No matter how many of these Silent Drills I see by the U.S Marines, they always give me chills. They are awesome!

I remember when I was stationed at Pendleton and they’d come once in a blue moon. It’s something else to see live. They had two squads facing each other, and as the Squad Leader walked through the squads they’d throw their rifles in front and behind him at the same time so it looked like he was walking through spinning rifles. Pretty goddamn motivating.

Proud to be an 8 & I Marine 1975...79. SDT member 76...77. You Marines will marvel at what you did (including February drills) as time goes by. Thanks for the memories! Semper fi!

I've been to the Museum Of The Marine Corps, and I know how big, or rather, how small that space is in which they were working. That impresses me to no end. It doesn't surprise me, because as a Marine I know we can do the impossible at any time, the miraculous just takes a little longer. SEMPER FI.

Gentlemen congratulations on a job well done with the unnecessary foot traffic and the confined operating space you men found a way to make the stage as huge as a football feild. Congrats and I salute you all.

I'm always blown away at the dedication to the training it takes to do D&C this well. My uncle was part of the Old Guard at Arlington, Va. I'm still very proud of Him. This takes it up a notch or two, bravo tou You All !

Their performance has gotten a lot better. It was always the usual stuff, same thing in every single video. But they've incorporated some new material and the second rifle inspection where they spun the rifles a little more was amazing. I'm impressed, keep it up!

They haven't invented a word yet to describe how awesome they are. If you've never seen them up close and personal you don't know what you are missing! They practice for hours every day and consider it a high honor to make the team. ALWAYS in sync and always right on target - it's all about precision. Just amazing! Kudos to all of them! They deserve it!

First off, thank you for your service! I have cousins in the military and my grandfather was in the military. He fought in Vietnam and well, it was bad there. He is still alive actually still and in good health even after being ambushed multiple times and the jeep he was in got blown up and needed surgery...anyways I have a question about the drill since you say you're marine: is the point of spinning the rifles like that to make sure the weapon is sturdy and no loose nuts/screws, or is it simply for appealing reasons?

OOH RAH! semper fi my young brothers......just got threw watching the Armies Silent Drill Team...all I saw was head bobbles, eye movements, poor coordination and lack of discipline. 1st Dark Green Devil dog on the left Lance CPL @ 4:13 must be new, to much chest movement while breathing causing the rifle to have to much movement. He will work on it and perfect the movements this I am sure of. Even him as a E3 is better than the 1st SGt ( E8) of the Armies Drill team.

@@clayprickett4673 No, they did not! I give my own goddamn freedom to myself by being a militant, confrontational, liberal warrior fighting against renewed fascism and open racism in America that is making the US the real shithole. Funny you should say that shit when American armed forces fought against the traitor confederacy now being openly embraced by Trump and his fanatical racist base. Trump was helped into office by America's perpetual enemy--the Russians. Therefore, TrumpTards, don't say shit to me about US Marines, or any armed forces "giving me freedom." I take my own motherfucking freedom through resistance--peacefully, or if needed, with violence! I am my own militia who would make any racist/ fascist traitor take the casket temperature challenge in any attempt to take America back to year 1830. I don't need US Marines!
