It's a song about a woman expressing her huge love for a man. Many songs of Marinella, including this one, are quite dramatic. It's worth noting that when Marinella was in her late teens, she had started an acting career with a group of travelling players and maybe that's why she is so good at singing that kind of songs. Shortly after that, she met one of the hugest Greek male singers, Stelios Kazantzidis, and she started to work with him as his second vocalist. After marrying and eventually divorcing Kazantzidis, in her late twenties, she started a very successful solo career and for the last 55 years she is thought to be one of the most important Greek singers.

Marinella may give a expression that she shouts but that's the best ,the coolest thing on her; that she doesn't. All this voice is coming out without shouting, without struggling..
