Even though I love this track, do you know what I find disappointing? How, in the remakes (not counting the custom track), the only dinosaur in the track is the blue one. In the original, there were a few more, like a yellow one and a red pterosaur. I can see it being because of hardware limitations, but it still makes the track seem kind of empty. Makes me think it's less "Dino Dino Jungle" and more like "Dino Jungle". If this gets remade once again, hopefully as DLC for Mario Kart 9, I hope they upgrade it to add the other dinosaurs back. If there are actually more dinosaurs in the remakes and I'm just not seeing them, please inform me. Despite the flaw, it's still one of my favorite tracks in the franchise.

I wouldn't necessarily think that hardware limitations would be the issue. 3DS has nearly as much power as GameCube if not even a bit more so saying that is just a shitty excuse imo. They had no reason to exclude dinosaurs.

They prolly just oversimplified it. But the 3ds has better graphics than the GameCube and wii so hardware limitations are non existent.

If they bring this back in 8 Deluxe instead of DK Mountain (because you know it’s one or the other), they better add the background dinosaurs or I riot.

I just realized that this track hasn’t officially been in a mario kart game that has bikes. I understand that bikes weren’t added in mk double dash because mk wii was the first game with bikes and that came out after double dash, but there’s no excuse for mk7 and mk tour to not have bikes idk why they’re missing from those games

It seems that the blue sauropod is called a Noshi. And according to Double Dash's code, there are five colors: blue, purple, turquoise, red and yellow.
