It's not so much an item *probability* suggestion but... How about a mod where you simply cannot see what you pull from the boxes? Like, you literally have to guess what you have for every item and try to use it strategically even though it will be a constant risk...

You should do a "Gun Game" of sorts with NMeade or Mayro or any guest! Where you both start with 100% chance of pulling a really powerful item (eg shock or bullet bill), and whoever wins race between the two moves onto the next item down (maybe star), then down again (mega/golden) until they get all the way down to Fake Item Box, and whoever wins first (between the two players) with the worst items wins the game! I think that'd be really fun to watch, but it could be messy in terms of modding the game like that (Yes im going to suggest this on every video until it either happens or we're told that it's not happening ♡)

1st-4th you get blooper, 5th-8th you get the pow, and 9th-12th you get the shock. Otherwise you get bombs if any of those are on cooldown. I think those are the only 4 items that can affect large portions of the room.

The Shooting Star is underrated. Almost exactly the same stats as the Mach Bike, just Large and Outside Drift. Favorite Outside Drift vehicle.

Literally all of its stats other than weight are within 5 points of the Mach Bike. 50/55, 48/37, 29/24, 32/32, 59/62, 27/27, 59/62.

@@mattalevine So why is it considered a garbage tier vehicle while the Mach Bike is one of the best? I know for a fact myself that the vehicle sucks. Bad acceleration, bad speed, and bad drift. This is what I experience whenever I use it, and I am by no stretch of the definition a top level player of this game, so it's not a competitive issue either.

Mostly because it's outside drift, unfortunately. If you're experienced with outside drift it's a pretty solid vehicle, but any bumpy sections can still become unavoidable obstacles because of how the drift works (I think because the direction you're going isn't the same as the direction you're facing when you release the miniturbo, bumps can carry you far out to the side for at least a second sometimes). And again, the drift stat feels worse because it's outside drift, so you swing out for a second before you start drifting. There's some situations it kinda helps in, but in general it helps if you start drifting earlier than you would with an inside drift vehicle, but then that means a bit less time for wheelie-ing. The acceleration doesn't matter beyond a point because of the standstill miniturbo. But yeah, the weight is rather poor. I'm also not a pro by any means, but this is my experience with it, plus my knowledge from watching Troy, lol

@@mattalevine Except the Spear exists, which actually has decent speed. I've also had better results with karts, even ones people don't care about as much like the Flame Flyer. Even though most if not all of them were beaten, I can see why several staff ghosts were made with it. And good acceleration still gets you back up to speed faster than standstill mini-turbos after spinning out, which is why I occasionally use the Magikruiser and Dolphin Dasher, even if the latter isn't as popular. I've used the Shooting Star multiple times, and it NEVER does well.
