Nah he seems like one of those cheap Phase Transition bosses like in FF7 Remake. Even if you do all the damage in the world combining every limit break together from the start, it would only deal 25, 33, or 50% of the bosses HP which would knock them into the next Battle Phase.

I think it's a nice touch that Sephiroth is a boss like Bowser where he only faints and not disappear into stars. He is still strong enough to stay in one piece but still beaten up by the brothers. Kind of like the season finale of One Punch Man. "You were holding back, weren't you?"

Mario and Luigi among them but there's also Kirby. Then it doesn't take a long search to find other characters who would not only be able to dodge but also utterly ignore anything sephiroth could dish out. Examples include Superman, Saitama, Goku, darkseid, Thanos, Thor(marvel) and Ben Ten.

Love how you even included the tells for each attack. Even if they're really hard, they're there and make it very possible for the bros to win, like Sephiroth dashing instantly at Mario but still flashing red for a split second right before he does it.

God, Mario and Luigi was such a good series. The fond memories... part of me is happy it's over. You could tell things went a tad downhill since Dream Team bros. No hard feelings though, it was a fantastic series.

Ya know, ever since I’ve been catching up on some of the other characters that could go toe-ta-toe with Sephiroth, I think Kirby would also be able to wipe the floor with him. The kid goes up against gods and monsters every adventure, and is strong enough to crack a planet

This was pretty fun to watch. Loved playing Bowser's Inside Story when I was younger. Would've been great if you could add custom bosses to the game like Seph here.
