Made this yesterday, was a BIG hit. So much so, that I’m making it again tonite! Picked mint from our little pandemic garden, which made the dish more special! (Made just a cpl tweaks for my western palette-only one shallot, very thinly sliced and brown sugar rather than palm to cut the tartness of lime juice. And used my little coffee grinder to turn toasted rice and coriander seeds into powder.)
@azbeaux3 жыл бұрын
I've just made this. It is delicious. I have diabetes and this is the perfect recipe. I left out the sugar as I like the tartness. It was absoltuely delicious.

Hello Marion, thank you so much for this recipe! Just a few days ago my husband bought a packet of spices for making Laab (ingredients were 40% roasted rice, 14 %chilli, sugar, fish sauce powder and even powdered lime juice I think? Lots of MSG as well since the brand was Ajinomoto 😅) and I tried it on roasted cauliflower like you did and it was absolutely delicious! Seriously addictive. Next time I will do it from scratch exactly like in your recipe so I can avoid the MSG!
