Sir, how to find if it is a repeated term or not for following type of questions where formulae is given. Eg N+1 term is (nth term + 1 )/n-1th term. A1 = 5, A2 = 7

How did you get -2 when you substituted 6 into n

The 6 is substituted into the "n" of the aₙ₋₁, which means a₅, the 5th term of the series. Now look back to the series given, we are given that the 5th term is 2. So now you wanna find the 6th term, use the recursive formula, and you will get a₆=a₅-4, which is 2-4 you will get -2. I assume that you know where the 4 comes from.
