@@djkido316 -- This was a weird way to come at this. There are a ton of athletes who also give. Not everyone on the level of Kai but they definitely do. The percentage of athletes that give compared to the percentage of millionaire businessmen is a gap wider than the Grand Canyon so to shade other athletes was really unnecessary just to give Kyrie more shine.

I’m from Philly, been a Mavericks fan my whole life thanks to J Kidd & Jim Jackson lol. That said …. I can attest to Mark Cuban being a great person. Around the time he got his big break he and his former partner created a non profit visual/audio recording & graphic design school for lower income students. I benefited immensely from Said school. They actually paid us to go to school! We had access to state of the art equipment/software and we really learned so much at that jawn. That youth empowerment program/school saved a lot of lives.

The media’s job is to paint narratives. When the spotlight was directly on him throughout Covid, I never once thought it was a reflection on his character. I saw it as: they need a target and he’s making it pretty easy to be targeted. If there’s one thing I would say I didn’t like, it was him saying he’d stay in Cleveland and Boston forever. However, he was much younger and circumstances change. Brooklyn was a nightmare but it definitely wasn’t entirely his fault. A lot had to do with ownership.
