@@djkido316THIS that’s why I never really understood the hate for Kyrie til I realized it all started after he left bron , he’s played great without bron and if not for injury he’d have 3 rings people make it seem like bron was the deciding factor onnat series and in some ways he was but when u look at 2015 vs 2016 they played a better team and if not for kyrie lebron wouldn’t have a single ring in Cleveland

@@djkido316 -- This was a weird way to come at this. There are a ton of athletes who also give. Not everyone on the level of Kai but they definitely do. The percentage of athletes that give compared to the percentage of millionaire businessmen is a gap wider than the Grand Canyon so to shade other athletes was really unnecessary just to give Kyrie more shine.

I’m from Philly, been a Mavericks fan my whole life thanks to J Kidd & Jim Jackson lol. That said …. I can attest to Mark Cuban being a great person. Around the time he got his big break he and his former partner created a non profit visual/audio recording & graphic design school for lower income students. I benefited immensely from Said school. They actually paid us to go to school! We had access to state of the art equipment/software and we really learned so much at that jawn. That youth empowerment program/school saved a lot of lives.

I wonder if he felt that way when Kyrie didn't take the covid vaccine. Since he was so outspoken against people who didn't take it. I didn't have an issue with anyone not taking it. I got the shot, but I understand it should be a choice or when people went after Kyrie for "antisemitic" comments. Funny how they change their tune when you provide them with something. I don't care if Cuban has these views, I just dislike hypocrites.

We only heard because the benefactors talked about it or people saw him show up in their ‘go fund me’ page to donate… and the donations are significant. Yet the media doesn’t talk about it even when the recipient does because they want to villainize him. He knows the media hates him and those donations won’t help his imag, because it won’t be seen. The media’s job is to paint narratives. When the spotlight was directly on him throughout Covid, I never once thought it was a reflection on his character. I saw it as: they need a target and he’s making it pretty easy to be targeted. If there’s one thing I would say I didn’t like, it was him saying he’d stay in Cleveland and Boston forever. However, he was much younger and circumstances change. Brooklyn was a nightmare but it definitely wasn’t entirely his fault. A lot had to do with ownership.

Kyrie took that shot because as he said it himself, that's what the defense gave him. Folks don't give Jokic that much credit on defense but he played about the best you could play in those couple seconds on Kyrie.
