speaking LITERALLY NOT FIGURATIVELY 300k to mark is far less what $1 would be to the average person. look at it this way: imagine seconds are dollars. 1 million seconds = 11 days 1 billion seconds = 33 YEARS Mark has a net worth of 5.2 BILLION DOLLARS that goes up my 10s of millions every months. Mark could have literally made every deal across 14 season of shark tank and his bank account wouldnt have dipped once. People dont realise how rich billionaires are.

I wonder does the show provide some sort of consultant or something that tells people to start with a high valuation for a low percentage. Is it some kind of strategy or something because WAY too many people seem to do this for it to be a coincidence. And if it is a strategy how often does it end up working.
@ItisHaneen Жыл бұрын
it's a common negotiation strategy, ask less/more than what you are willing to give/take. Very effective
@BruhThereYouGo Жыл бұрын
It’s common in negotiations because you don’t wanna shorthand yourself. It’s rare to enter the tank and walk out with the deal you ask for. You’re always going to get undercut somehow because everyone wants the best deal for themself.
@miguelhernandez8577 Жыл бұрын
the rules are that the sharks can't offer less money than what the people ask for but they can ask for more equity. so yeah, it is how the show goes. there's a famous instance where some guest shark offers less money, mark calls him out on it and the guy throws water in his face
