@@jacquelineleubin5004 I think movie producers are very unprofessional. Movies can be made on regular hours. Why do you make employees work 16 hours a day? Sure when you're shooting on location and have a limited time frame, you have to squeeze in extra time. But when you are shooting on a set as in this case, there's no reason for it.

Jacqueline Leubin No, she was not unprofessional. She (and her agent) negotiated a contract that the studio agreed to; therefore, she was not in breach of her contract, and the fact that she worked longer hours than her contract stipulated, makes her a class act. Elizabeth Taylor was (and is) an astonishing beauty, and a remarkable woman.

I think it's a case of egos; not bigger, not better or worse, just that their egos are different as presented to the camera. Mark Harmon is more like John Wayne or Paul Newman, subtle, not pushy yet powerful underneath. Tom Cruise is more flashy or flamboyant. They each could play the same role yet give you different aspects of the character. That's why certain actors are better for certain roles, but typecasting may keep us from seeing what a particular actor could bring to a role. Leslie Nielsen showed us his comedic side in Airplane! after years of dramatic parts, and after that was in mainly comedies.

What a great interview Stephen. You can tell in this, and the other interview video, that Harmon is really comfortable. Sometimes the talk shows Mark goes on feel forced but both Stephen and Mark look like friends catching up, laughing and telling stories. Feels natural. Awesome and fun to watch.

Truly an under appreciated artisan of his craft. I first saw him in Moonlighting as Maddie’s love interest - Sam the astronaut. Next saw him in The Presidio. Then NCIS which I have followed every year despite main cast members leaving for other projects. But the best news is that he is still married to Pam Dawber who I went head over heels for as Mindy McConnell. They are a good looking couple! A match made in heaven. And that was a great story about Liz Taylor...

I can't remember the name of the movie, but, it was set in the old west and Mark played the best villain. Tom Selleck was the good guy. It was back when Selleck was doing all those Louie Lamour or Zane Grey movies.

every time i see, or hear, about "Mark Harmon," i think about that episode of Family GUY, where Peter has a picture of Mark, hanging on his wall, (for SOME reason) & he's asking Louis "if she sees a wheelchair." (even-tho, it was a pic of JUST his head) but, yeah... Peter was saying how "Mark Harmon doesn't use a wheelchair, cuz MARK HARMON is COOL!!" 🏆 (that & i think about the movie he did, with the Lockness Monster type thing... "Water Horse" or some junk...idk 🤷♀️) he IS good tho... gotta give props, where props are due. 👏👏👏

It's was probably the girls' school in Sierra Madre, not Alta Dena. (I crossed paths with that production that day-- didn't see a single crew member or star--I was photographing for the florist). I just watched Sweet Bird of Youth, wasn't the greatest movie but it was a lot of fun--captured exceptionally well the high toned seediness of the play.

I love Mark Harmon !! I''m not sure which I saw him in first St Elsewhere or that Summer Break movie but what I REALLY remember is when he played Ted Bundy in a TV movie....I was SO upset he was playing a "bad guy" but I HAD to watch it anyway and I remember (I was young...10-12 yrs old) thinking "geez no wonder Ted Bundy got so many victims he's HOT". 🤣🤣🤣 My mother said she was very worried about the guys I might bring home when I started dating!! I think NCIS is the only show that can succeed with so many character changes as long as HE is still there playing Leroy Jethro Gibbs

Mark's dad took it to The Buckeyes one day in November. Columbus 1940. Got a standing O. Then went on to get a Purple Heart and Silver Star. Much respect. Go Bucks Beat Blue!

It’s amazing how certain articles tainted Liz Taylor. She had it in her contract to leave after 8 hours. She also came to work ready to work (according to Mark himself). And after the “confrontation” between Liz and Mark, Liz didn’t use her clout to have Mark fired. She took it as a learning experience and decided to remain on set as much as it was needed despite her contract saying otherwise. That shows character

He's such a consistent actor, I had to keep saying to myself, "Gibbs is fine, he didn't get body-snatched". I played this twice but didn't look at the screen at first the second time.
