The best line is in the chorus--My only prayer is to see you there at the end of my wandering. Has special meaning to me, as I lost my dear husband, and this is my prayer.

When I was separated from my wife for 2 years, I would sing this song all the time. Of course she would be the one that I would "just see your there at the end, of my wandering, back in the dock". Such a lovely song, melody and poetic verses.

The guitar is beautiful from the very beginning of the song, the other instruments are accompanied by the wonderful lyrics of the song, what could one wish for more beautifully than this song. 🌞🥰👍🎶🎸🎤🎶🎸💫👍🙋♀️

Mark has obviously been to sea, the tempo of this music drops right into the roll of a trawler running down wind and down wave, most relaxing and you don't even get to be seasick!

Can't believe I've never heard this one before, it's like a childhood christmas gift that got lost on the way. Amazing stuff, as always.
