Rich tips, elegant conversation. ii reuse paper toweling ink/paint stained for color, texture, & substrate reinforcement (w/matte medium), & sometimes it becomes it's own finished piece rather than the starting place for collage layers. Great video. Ty.

I liked the sandwich idea, but I think I'll try a clementine bag to use. And or a combination of that bag and some wire going through it,or string. After seeing your show ,absolutely opens an endless list of things to do. Thank you. I love the crumble up thing, and then do a dry brush technique also. 👌

Robin, I told my son that I really liove your channel more than anyone else’s and it feels like having a conversation with myself only that you’re sharing several new ideas that I may not have thought of and I know I have some that you haven’t mentioned yet either but nevertheless, I didn’t know quite what was my connection until now. We both are trained in anthropology & archaeology too,, and have always been an artist as well . ..and even though I wanted to study art formally and my parents said no, the next best thing I could think of was Anthropolgy. After graduate school I went to work in Archaeology for the last 38 years. I’m a member of a printmaking group and Now that I’m retired somewhat, I have a studio in town and I am pursuing an ancient love of Art. Im glad you mentioned your background. It just solidifies my realization that I have a sense of purity of focus. I’ve come to realize that my life experiences and my education & work history have all influenced my artwork subconsciously. Thanks for sharing your passion with us.
