Hello from Nashville, Tennessee. I have a huge favor to ask of you. I would love if you did a very short video giving us the “dictionary“ of gelli printing. I hear ghost print, masks, and such but I have no idea what some of those things are. For the newbies like Meat, will you give us a breakdown on the terminology? Will you also explain how each layer of paint pulls so we know what is dominant versus what is highlight? I do understand a lot of this is trial and error. But at least knowing the terminology would help me so much more. Thank you for being my art therapist! I am looking forward to joining you in your crusade for creativity. But, as an American, I will not be able to pay you through my insurance, lol. But I will pay you through my admiration and respect. Thank you for making people happy, giving people joy, and being an inspiration to so many of us. The world could do with a lot more people like you with your beautiful attitude and contagious laugh. Great play again Froyle! I've just been to Temu and ordered 8 rectangular placemats of the same type as your ginko leaves. I've already got a couple of round ones that work really well and you inspired me to look for ones that would cover my gel plate. I've also been playing with the round ones doing multi layers and they're coming out really well. (my search term was "plastic placemats") Thanks for the inspiration!

Ooo thought of one more addition, pick your fav print, cut one ginkgo leaf, attach it to the print and fill in the spaces with green epoxy or tinted mod podge dimension stuffwhateveritscalled. I bet I can find some of those leaves or something similar at Hobby Lobby.

This! This was fabulous! I have that same ginkgo in my Amazon cart. I was only looking for a way to use it before actually purchasing. But now, all my creative flow is simply dying to do this. But, like you, patience is not my virtue. Even more difficult for me is that I am waiting for my gelli plate to arrive tomorrow and sneak it into the house so my husband doesn’t know I’ve spent way more than I should. But this video has made me realize what I can do. Thank you, for empowering me. Just so you know, I use art as therapy. I have had a bit of problems with anxiety and panic disorders. Art is my outlet. But I have put my creativity on a back burner and have not used it as such. I have done a big rabbit hole deep dive into your channel. I want you to know that you have inspired and touched the heart of a woman in Tennessee. I think you for your positivity and your enthusiasm as well as your instruction and lovely videos. You have given me a way to get back to my own outlet. So, you have kind of had therapy videos just for me, lol. I wish you nothing but peace, love, and Joy. Thank you for being inspiring.

Wow! The papers came out fabulous. Gorgeous 😍 Tip- Don't use your finger nail to burnish the foil or it will scratch the foil. Believe me, I know. 😆

Froyle this video is fantastic and your enthusiasm is off the chart and all for $5.00 🤣 Yes! the world will be having a world wide shortage of Ginko leaf leaves shortage now because everyone will want to play with them and I wanna play too. They are so enticing and downright lovely. Actually elegant! They are just perfect for geli pad. I can't begin to pick a favorite but..... oh, let me try. Loved the gold background with the orange paint where you rolled on some sand paint for texture. That's cool! Loved the Amsterdam Bronze on gold and there's more😋 the gold background with the black ginko with the gold leaf, so so pretty. Your excitement is just the crowning glory. Like you, I am wary of Temu. I like the gingko design, but, if you have a hot glue gun and a silicone mat, it is possible to make your own stencils.

Love ginko leaves!! That was fabulous.....thank you. Temu has foil in a pack of mixed colours; definitely not as strong as the foil you used. Also Temu has some fabulous Gold and Silver mirror pens....these are superb !! Different nib sizes.

may I ask What would you use to adhere the print with gold foil onto a substrate? If you use a gel medium wouldn’t you lose the shine of the gold?
